Time to Party! is the name of one of the main story's Important Requests in Pokémon Pokopia, and it's connected to the Rocky Ridges area. In this entry of our guide, we'll explain how to complete each step of this mission so you can finish it without any trouble and avoid getting stuck.

How to reach 100 Mood points and throw a huge Pokémon party

To complete the Time to Party! mission after rescuing Chef Dente and finding DJ Rotom, you need to reach a total of 100 Mood points to throw a huge party with the other Pokémon near the Pokémon Center.

Pokémon Pokopia - Time to Party! mission: How to reach 100 Mood points

To reach this total Mood score, you'll need to complete a series of small tasks similar to regular Requests. Some of them can be completed in any order, and you may even have finished or made progress on a few already simply by playing the game. Either way, make sure you speak to the Pokémon connected to each task after completing it so that it counts toward your progress.

In case you're unsure what to do, these are the main tasks you need to complete to raise the Mood and prepare the party:

Place and prepare the Party Cooking Pot

One of the first things you need to do during this mission is tidy up the area where the party will take place. After destroying all the Volcanic Ash blocks covering the courtyard, speak to Chef Dente to receive a Party Cooking Pot.

This large object is where Chef Dente will prepare food for the party and its guests. After placing it in the courtyard, interact with it to check its requirements, just as you would with a building under construction. You'll need to add the following ingredients:

  • Leppa Berries x15
  • Wheat x15
  • Beans x15
  • Honey x5

You must also assign at least five Pokémon to the task, although Chef Dente counts as one of them.

If you don't have all the ingredients yet, now is a good time to start growing Wheat and Beans while you work on the other objectives. Remember that Pokémon with the Grow specialty can make seeds grow more quickly. Leppa Berries are incredibly easy to collect from trees, while Honey can randomly be found inside glowing flowers or produced by Combee in its habitat.

Find a Large Lost Relic for the party

One of the objectives involves Professor Tangrowth. A good way to raise the Mood is to display a Large Lost Relic in the party area. As you should already know, Lost Relics can be obtained at random by breaking glowing blocks with Rock Smash.

Breaking these blocks can reward you with random treasures, so you won't always find a Large Lost Relic. What you need is to obtain one and take it to Tangrowth to have it appraised. Once it has been appraised, display it in the party courtyard. If you have any more, feel free to display those as well to raise the overall Mood even further.

Find a music CD for DJ Rotom

Another task involves DJ Rotom. This Pokémon will ask you to find a music CD that it can play to liven up the party. Like Lost Relics, CDs can be found at random by breaking glowing blocks, although you can also occasionally find CD racks containing them around the world.

If you still don't have one or want to get one quickly and reliably, head to the cave where you first met DJ Rotom. There's a rack containing a CD there, provided you didn't pick it up earlier.

Once you have a disc, return to DJ Rotom and slot it into the Pokémon so it can start playing music.

Create the Uplifting Duckweed habitat to invite Ludicolo

Afterward, DJ Rotom will tell you that it would be great if a Pokémon with the Hype specialty came to the party to dance to the music. The ideal Pokémon in this case is Ludicolo, which can appear in the Rocky Ridges after you create the Uplifting Duckweed habitat.

Pokémon Pokopia - Time to Party! mission: How to create the Uplifting Duckweed habitat

You can create this habitat by placing four patches of Duckweed in a natural body of water. You can create Duckweed yourself by using Leafage on water, much like you would use it to create Tall Grass. Bear in mind, however, that you must first power up the move by eating any type of salad.

As you should already know by this point, since you had to do it while rescuing Chef Dente, salads can be prepared on a Cutting Board using Leaves. Eat a salad, find a body of water, and place four patches of Duckweed to create Ludicolo's habitat. Once it appears and you've befriended it, have it follow you to the party and speak to DJ Rotom.

Craft Party Platters and prepare some food

Chef Dente will have another task for you. The chef wants you to craft five Party Platters and prepare dishes to place on them. Each Party Platter requires one Iron Ingot, which you can obtain by smelting iron in a Smelting Furnace with the help of a Pokémon that has the Burn specialty.

As for the food, you can prepare whichever recipes you like. Simply cook five dishes using whichever ingredients you have the most of. Then return to the party area, place the platters down, and put the dishes on top of them.

Decorate the party to raise the Mood even further

After completing everything above, you should be close to reaching 100 Mood points if you haven't already. To earn the last few points, you can add some finishing touches to the party courtyard. Place party-themed decorations such as balloons, cups, microphones, speakers, platforms, and anything else that fits the occasion.

Almost any object you have available with the "Decoration" tag will help improve the party's Mood. You can also place additional platters, dishes, or Lost Relics around the area, as well as bring over more Pokémon with the Hype specialty. All of these things will add points.

Prepare the final dish: Party Curry

Pokémon Pokopia - Time to Party! mission: Cooking the Party Curry

Once you finally reach 100 Mood points, Chef Dente will have enough inspiration to cook a Party Curry. If you've already assigned the required Pokémon to the Party Cooking Pot and added all the ingredients, the dish can be prepared, although it will take seven minutes to cook.

Wait for the curry to finish cooking and speak to Chef Dente again when it's ready. The party will be a huge success, and all the commotion will cause the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion to appear at the top of the volcano above the Pokémon Center. Climb up and speak to it to register it in your Pokédex and bring the celebration to a spectacular end.

That's it—mission complete!
