Of all the materials and items you can obtain in Pokémon Pokopia, Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor are two of the most unusual—and also among the hardest to obtain—for several reasons. In this entry of our guide, we'll explain how to obtain both types of armor using Armor Fragments and exactly what to do with them to find Armarouge and Ceruledge.
How to get Armor Fragments
To obtain Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor in Pokémon Pokopia, you'll first need to find Armor Fragments. These rare special treasures can be obtained at random by breaking terrain blocks with golden sparkles:
It's important to note that this is the only way to obtain Armor Fragments. They can't be purchased from shops or acquired through any other method. This means you'll largely be relying on luck to find them, as you'll never know whether breaking a sparkling block will reward you with an Armor Fragment, a relic, a fossil, a music CD, or some other treasure.
One useful tip is that there is a way to speed up the process. You can bring along a Pokémon with the Search specialty, such as Pidgey, Venomoth, or Zubat, and equip the Dowsing Machine to search for treasure. This increases your chances of finding Armor Fragments. You can also offer Mosslax salad recipes after completing the "Brighten Things Up" mission to improve your chances of obtaining rare items.
How to craft and use Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor
The first time you obtain an Armor Fragment, Ditto will come up with the idea for crafting both Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor at a Workbench. Each piece of armor requires one Armor Fragment and one Iron Ingot.
Although you can use these pieces of armor as decorations if you wish, their most important purpose is to create the habitats that attract Armarouge and Ceruledge. This allows you to register them in the Pokédex.
Below are the requirements for creating each of these armor-related habitats:
Auspicious Knight's Shrine
This habitat attracts Armarouge and can be created by placing the following items together in the same area:
Pedestal or display stand x1
Auspicious Armor x1
Stepping Stones x2
Firepit x2
Malicious Knight's Shrine
This habitat attracts Ceruledge and can be created by placing the following items together in the same area:
