Eevee is one of the best-known Pokémon in the series, and its many evolutions are just as famous. All of them are available as part of the Pokédex in Pokémon Pokopia. However, the methods for obtaining them are a little unusual compared with those of other Pokémon in the game. That's why, in this entry of our guide, we'll explain how to get Eevee and all eight of its evolutions: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon.
Although Eevee has a favorite habitat, you don't obtain this Pokémon by creating it. Instead, you're guaranteed to befriend it the first time you enter the optional Palette Town area.
You can visit Palette Town from the beginning of the game, without needing to raise your Trainer Rank, by taking the road on the beach at the far western edge of Withered Wasteland:
When you arrive in Palette Town and approach the ruined Pokémon Center, Eevee will automatically appear and ask you to help find its evolutions. At this point, it will be registered in your Pokédex without any trouble and will remain in the area, roaming around the town. Of course, you can build it a house to make it more comfortable.
From this point onward, you can meet several specific requirements to create the habitats of all Eevee's evolutions in Palette Town. Bear in mind that these evolutions can only be obtained in this area of the game. Below, we'll explain the requirements for each species.
Vaporeon, Eevee's Water-type evolution, can only be obtained in Palette Town by creating the Boundless Blue Beverage habitat. You can create this habitat by combining the following elements:
To obtain the Soda Float, you can complete Palette Town's special computer challenge titled "Different Kinds of Flowers in Bloom!", whose objective is to grow a total of 12 different varieties of flowers from seeds.
In other words, you need to plant and fully grow seeds for every type of flower in the game: Wildflowers, Seashore Flowers, Mountain Flowers, Skyland Flowers, Beautiful Flowers, Cute Flowers, Elegant Flowers, and Robust Flowers. These flowers are also available in different colors. For example, you might have two Skyland Flowers with different color patterns, and they will count as two different varieties toward the challenge. Try to obtain and plant flowers of every type and color until you reach the required total.
Once you've met this requirement, you can complete the challenge on the computer and receive the special item as a reward, allowing you to create Vaporeon's habitat in the area. The Pokémon should appear before long, as it can show up at any time and in any weather.
Jolteon, Eevee's Electric-type evolution, can only be obtained in Palette Town by creating the Electrifying Potatoes habitat. You can create this habitat by combining the following elements:
To obtain the Fried Potatoes, you can complete Palette Town's special computer challenge titled "Power Machines with Electricity!", whose objective is to connect a total of 50 electrical items to power sources.
In other words, you need to switch on lights, computers, machines, and any other items that require power. To do so, connect them to generators that produce electricity, such as wind, thermal, or hydroelectric generators. This task may take quite a while, so take your time.
Once you've met this requirement, you can complete the challenge on the computer and receive the special item as a reward, allowing you to create Jolteon's habitat in the area. The Pokémon should appear before long, as it can show up at any time and in any weather.
Flareon, Eevee's Fire-type evolution, can only be obtained in Palette Town by creating the Burning-Hot Spice habitat. You can create this habitat by combining the following elements:
To obtain the Pizza, you can complete Palette Town's special computer challenge titled "Build Lots of Stuff!", whose objective is to construct a total of 15 buildings or structures using kits.
In other words, you need to buy or obtain 15 structure kits of any kind, such as houses, statues, parks, and so on, and then use materials and the help of the Pokémon in the area to complete their construction and make them count toward the challenge. Bear in mind that the special structures associated with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres can also count toward this total.
Once you've met this requirement, you can complete the challenge on the computer and receive the special item as a reward, allowing you to create Flareon's habitat in the area. The Pokémon should appear before long, as it can show up at any time and in any weather.
Espeon, Eevee's Psychic-type evolution, can only be obtained in Palette Town by creating the Elegant Daytime Treats habitat. You can create this habitat by combining the following elements:
To obtain the Afternoon Tea Set, you can complete Palette Town's special computer challenge titled "Get a Pokémon Housemate!". Its objective is simply to build a house for Ditto in the town and invite any other Pokémon to live there. That's all there is to it.
Once you've met this requirement, you can complete the challenge on the computer and receive the special item as a reward, allowing you to create Espeon's habitat in the area. The Pokémon should appear before long and can show up in any weather, but bear in mind that it only appears during the morning, daytime, or evening. It will never appear at night.
Umbreon, Eevee's Dark-type evolution, can only be obtained in Palette Town by creating the Dark-Chocolate Cookies habitat. You can create this habitat by combining the following elements:
To obtain the Chocolate Cookies, you can complete Palette Town's special computer challenge titled "Make Roads!", whose objective is to place a total of 300 Road Blocks to form paths.
In other words, you need to place up to 300 blocks in the town that have the "Road" tag beside their name. They don't need to form a continuous path or be connected to one another, and you can use any type of block as long as it counts as a Road Block.
Once you've met this requirement, you can complete the challenge on the computer and receive the special item as a reward, allowing you to create Umbreon's habitat in the area. The Pokémon should appear before long and can show up in any weather, but bear in mind that it only appears at night. It will never appear during the day.
Leafeon, Eevee's Grass-type evolution, can only be obtained in Palette Town by creating the Leafy Greens Sandwich habitat. You can create this habitat by combining the following elements:
To obtain the Sandwiches, you can complete Palette Town's special computer challenge titled "Grow Lots of Veggies at Once!", whose objective is to grow a total of 50 vegetables in tilled soil.
In other words, you need to plant and fully grow bean, tomato, wheat, or other vegetable seeds. It doesn't matter which types of vegetables you grow; the only important thing is to have a total of 50 fully grown vegetables. Once they have finished growing, do not harvest them, or they won't count.
Once you've met this requirement, you can complete the challenge on the computer and receive the special item as a reward, allowing you to create Leafeon's habitat in the area. The Pokémon should appear before long, as it can show up at any time and in any weather.
Glaceon, Eevee's Ice-type evolution, can only be obtained in Palette Town by creating the Chilly Shaved Ice habitat. You can create this habitat by combining the following elements:
To obtain the Shaved Ice, you can complete Palette Town's special computer challenge titled "Make It Easier to Get Around!", whose objective is to connect a total of five pairs of Lift Platforms.
In other words, you need to craft 10 Lift Platforms at a Workbench and place them around the town so that they form five connected pairs. If you don't yet have the recipe for building Lift Platforms, continue progressing through the story, as you obtain it during the Sparkling Skylands portion of the adventure.
Once you've met this requirement, you can complete the challenge on the computer and receive the special item as a reward, allowing you to create Glaceon's habitat in the area. The Pokémon should appear before long, as it can show up at any time and in any weather.
Sylveon, Eevee's Fairy-type evolution, can only be obtained in Palette Town by creating the Lovely Ribbon Cake habitat. You can create this habitat by combining the following elements:
To obtain the Ribbon Cake, you can complete Palette Town's special computer challenge titled "Find More Pokémon!", whose objective is simply to make 10 Pokémon appear in the town. Alternatively, you can move this number of Pokémon from another area, although we recommend creating new habitats instead, as many of them are exclusive to Palette Town.
Once you've met this requirement, you can complete the challenge on the computer and receive the special item as a reward, allowing you to create Sylveon's habitat in the area. The Pokémon should appear before long, as it can show up at any time and in any weather.
