Volcanion is one of the Mythical Pok�mon that appear in Pok�mon Pokopia and can be registered in the Pok�dex of this Nintendo Switch 2 game. Since it is one of the most special creatures in the game, we've prepared this entry of our guide to explain how to get it and show you its general details.

How to Find and Register Volcanion

Although Volcanion is a Mythical Pok�mon, obtaining it in Pok�mon Pokopia isn't particularly difficult. All you need to do is complete the Important Request "Time to Party!", which is part of your general progression through Rocky Ridges. You can reach this area after completing "Yawn Up a Storm!" in Withered Wasteland and reaching Great Ball Trainer Rank.

Pok�mon Pokopia - How to get the Mythical Pok�mon Volcanion

In other words, your encounter with Volcanion is guaranteed and tied to the main story. If you haven't completed this mission yet, or aren't sure what to do during any of its steps, you can check the related entry in our guide.

During the final part of the mission, after raising the mood to 100 points and preparing the Party Curry with Chef Dente, Volcanion will appear at the top of the volcano, located above the area's Pok�mon Center. Climb to the summit and talk to it. Once you've met Volcanion, it will be automatically registered in your Pok�dex.

Pok�mon Pokopia - Finding Volcanion for the first time during the Time to Party mission

Outside this particular encounter, however, it's worth pointing out that Volcanion cannot be invited to live in a house like most other Pok�mon in the game. You'll only encounter it at this point in the adventure and can only talk to it. As far as we know, it cannot move into a building, and you don't need to worry about raising its Comfy Level or anything similar.

So now you know: simply meeting Volcanion as part of the big party mission is enough for it to count as registered in the Pok�dex.
