In Pokémon Pokopia, the game's Pokédex includes a large number of Fossil Pokémon from previous generations of the series. In fact, all of the following are available to find: Aerodactyl, Cranidos, Rampardos, Shieldon, Bastiodon, Tyrunt, Tyrantrum, Amaura, and Aurorus.
However, to befriend these nine Pokémon, you need to create their habitats, which in this case can only be made by collecting specific fossils for each species. In this entry of our guide, we'll explain and show you how and where to get the different fossils, as well as the requirements for creating each habitat properly.
In Pokémon Pokopia, you can only find Pokémon fossils by breaking glowing terrain blocks that appear at random throughout the game's different areas. Fossils cannot be obtained in any other way, whether by purchasing them from PC shops or trading for them with other Pokémon...
So remember: the only way to find fossils is by breaking glowing blocks. That said, if you have the Dowsing Machine and a Pokémon with the Search specialty, you can also look for hidden buried treasures that may contain fossils. In addition, if you want to increase the chances of fossils appearing inside glowing blocks, don't forget that you can give Mosslax daily offerings of bitter-flavored food to improve the drop rate of rare items. You can do this after completing the Important Request "Brighten Things Up!".
With that said, Pokopia features a total of nine different fossil categories, each directly associated with a particular Fossil Pokémon. However, some categories contain more than one fossil part or type, while others consist of just a single piece. For example, Cranidos only requires the Skull Fossil, whereas Rampardos requires several pieces from the Headbutt Fossil category: the head, body, and tail.
Below, you'll find every fossil category, all of its individual parts, and the Pokémon associated with it. Pay close attention, as we'll also tell you which areas of the game each fossil can appear in when breaking glowing blocks. Not every type of fossil can randomly appear in every area. Most are exclusive to certain biomes, with the exception of Aerodactyl's fossils, which can appear anywhere.

Don't forget: if you're looking for a particular fossil you still haven't found, you need to search the glowing blocks in the areas where it can appear, as shown in the table above.
Now that we've shown you how and where to obtain every type of fossil, all that's left is to explain how to create their different habitats so the Pokémon can appear in your game.
Every Fossil Pokémon habitat in Pokopia can be created by placing one or two Pedestals or Exhibition Stands in a location and setting the appropriate fossil pieces on top of them. Species that require more than one piece must, of course, be "assembled" in the correct order, joining the tail to the body and then connecting the body to the head.
Below, you'll find images and all the relevant information you need to create the nine Fossil Pokémon habitats. The Pokémon that appear in them are Common rarity, so they shouldn't take long to show up once the habitats have been completed. They can also appear in any area, at any time, and in any weather conditions.
