Rebuild the Huge Building! is the name of one of the main story's Important Requests in Pokémon Pokopia, and it's connected to the Sparkling Skylands area. In this entry of our guide, we'll explain how to complete each step of this mission so you can finish it without any trouble and avoid getting stuck.

How to rebuild the huge building in Sparkling Skylands

To complete the Rebuild the Huge Building! mission after finding Tinkmaster in the Sparkling Skylands biome and building the first Lift Platform so it could travel to the Pokémon Center island, you need to rebuild the enormous human building, which consists of three upper floors and a rooftop.

Pokémon Pokopia - Rebuild the Huge Building! mission: How to rebuild the Skyland Building

Rebuilding this skyscraper isn't actually all that different from completing regular building kits. The main difference is that you'll need to rebuild all three floors one at a time, working your way from the bottom to the top. Naturally, you'll need a considerable amount of resources and plenty of Pokémon willing to lend a hand.

In case you're unsure what to do, we'll explain everything you need to rebuild each floor of the huge building:

Rebuild the Skyland Building's second floor

The project begins with the reconstruction of the second floor. For this floor, you'll need a total of six Pokémon to help with the work: five of them can be any species, while the last one must be Tinkmaster.

You'll also need the following materials for this stage of the reconstruction:

  • Concrete x25
  • Glass x10
  • Pokémetal Ingots x5
  • Iron Ingots x10

Remember that our guide includes a dedicated page explaining how to obtain all the main materials in the game, so you can check it if you're unsure how to find any of the resources listed above. As a tip, we recommend producing considerably more Concrete and Glass than you currently need, as you'll require plenty more during the next few steps.

At this point in the game, however, you shouldn't have too much trouble obtaining any of the listed materials. Once you have everything, place the resources in the construction box and start the project. You'll have to wait exactly one hour in real time for the work to be completed. If you would rather not wait, though, you can always use the time-skipping trick.

Rebuild the Skyland Building's third floor

Once the first stage of the mission is complete, it's time to rebuild the skyscraper's third floor. For this floor, you'll need a total of ten Pokémon to help with the work: eight of them can be any species, one must once again be Tinkmaster, and the last one has to be Chef Dente.

As requested by Tinkmaster, return to the Rocky Ridges biome and speak to Chef Dente so it can accompany you. Have it follow you and fast travel back to Sparkling Skylands. You can then take Chef Dente to the entrance of the skyscraper and assign it to the project alongside the other Pokémon.

You'll need the following materials to rebuild the third floor:

  • Concrete x25
  • Glass x10
  • Glowing Stone x10
  • Copper Ingots x15

The more unusual resource on this list is Glowing Stone, although you probably already know where to find it. Large amounts can be collected inside the mines and caves of Rocky Ridges.

You can destroy these rocks with Rock Smash, although you'll first need to power up the move by eating a Hamburger Steak. Remember that you can cook Hamburger Steaks in a Frying Pan using Beans as the main ingredient.

Once again, gather everything you need, start the project, and wait exactly one hour in real time for the reconstruction work to finish.

Rebuild the Skyland Building's fourth floor

After completing the two previous stages, you'll reach the final part of the mission. This time, you need to rebuild the fourth floor, which also includes the rooftop. The number of Pokémon required now increases to a total of 15: 13 of them can be any species, another must be Tinkmaster, and the final Pokémon has to be Peakychu.

You know what to do: return to the Bleak Beach biome, find Peakychu, and ask it to accompany you back to Sparkling Skylands. Take it to the construction site so you can assign it to the project.

Pokémon Pokopia - Rebuild the Huge Building! mission: Materials required to rebuild the fourth floor

You'll need the following materials for this stage of the reconstruction:

  • Concrete x40
  • Glass x15
  • Paper x10
  • Bricks x10
  • Lumber x20

You may be unsure how to obtain Bricks and Paper, so here's a quick reminder. Bricks can be produced by giving Squishy Clay to any Pokémon with the Burn specialty. Squishy Clay is mainly found around Bleak Beach by breaking blocks made from this material with Rock Smash, although Ground-type Pokémon with the Litter specialty can also regularly drop it around their habitats.

Pokémon Pokopia - Rebuild the Huge Building! mission: How to obtain Paper for the fourth floor

As for Paper, it's very easy to obtain. You simply need a Pokémon with the Recycle specialty and some Wastepaper to give it, which the Pokémon will then turn into Paper. For example, just to the right of the skyscraper's entrance, you can easily create the Professor's Apprentice Program habitat by placing a Whiteboard, any type of table, a Laptop, and some Jumbled Cords together. This will attract Metang, which can recycle the huge amount of Wastepaper scattered throughout the islands.

Once you have everything you need, start this final stage of the project and wait one last hour for the work to be completed. When the building is finally finished, clouds will cover the sky and something will appear on the rooftop...

Take the building's elevator up to the rooftop, where you'll find a Master Ball. Interact with it and you'll come face to face with none other than the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo. After speaking to it, Mewtwo will be registered in your Pokédex, and you'll also receive an intriguing clue about what might have happened to the humans.

That's it—mission complete!
