Resident Evil 2 Remake: Infinite Ammo in The Ghost Survivors

Throughout The Ghost Survivors, you will play as several characters, each with their own equipment and weapon limitations. However, the final character, the sheriff, has infinite ammunition for his handgun. Is infinite ammunition available for other weapons? Yes.

Do not confuse this with the weapons featuring infinite ammunition in the main story. This is infinite ammunition for every weapon in The Ghost Survivors.

How to Get Infinite Ammo in The Ghost Survivors

It is very simple: you "only" need to equip the Cat Ears accessory from the Accessories menu. Its description clearly states that it grants infinite ammunition for every weapon when playing as any character. This makes completing speedruns or hunting down the Mr. Raccoon figures in The Ghost Survivors much easier.

But how do you unlock the Cat Ears? Well, that may be easier said than done. You need to complete the No Way Out scenario while firing the handgun no more than 60 times. Sounds simple, right? In reality, luck plays a major role, but you can make the challenge less difficult—although never easy—by following these Captain Obvious-approved tips:

• If you do not have a clear shot at an enemy’s head, do not fire.
• Once you have fired 60 shots, discard the handgun—weapons can be discarded in The Ghost Survivors—to avoid any accidents.
• Obviously, zombies carrying backpacks or gas tanks should be your priority.
• When dealing with zombies carrying gas tanks, do not knock them down immediately. Wait until they are near a group, then shoot the tank directly.
• As mentioned above, luck plays a major role. If you encounter a large number of fast-moving zombies, the challenge will be much harder than if more of them move slowly.
• Obviously, you should always use the Spark Shot or Shotgun to hit multiple enemies with a single shot whenever possible.
• Save the Flamethrower and Rocket Launcher—especially the latter—for the Pale Heads.
