After escaping from the Police Station, a rather eventful arrival in the Sewers, giant alligator included, forces us to play as Ada for a while. This section is only available when playing as Leon.
First of all, forget about your weapons. All you have is a tiny handgun. But it is a limited edition. Not bad. Head left, and when you attempt to climb the stairs, the game will explain how the EMF Visualizer works. Use it to hack the terminal beside the stairs and start the fan.
Then use it on the fan itself until its blades explode, allowing you to climb the ladder and pass through the tunnel. When you reach the far end, repeat the process: hack the terminal below and to the right, then the one on the left, and finally the fan. Before climbing down, hack the terminal on the left again.
When you reach the bottom, you will see a zombie and find the Sept. Inspection (Week 1) file on the small table against the northern wall. The door should be open, but if it is not—because you did not listen to us—you will need to hack the fan’s second terminal again.
Once you are downstairs in the next room, you will see that it is a small maze of metal containers. If you use the EMF Visualizer, you will notice that a cable connects all the terminals, and you can use it as a guide.
To save yourself some trouble, head toward the western wall, where you will find the terminal you need to hack to activate the circuit. Now retrace your steps all the way back to the foot of the ladder you climbed down, where an elevator will have been activated.
Follow the only available route and go through the door. When you reach the junction in the tunnel where Annette disappeared... well. the Tyrant is back. Hurry to the end of the hallway and hack the terminal on the wall to your right.
As soon as you go through the door, turn around and hack the panel on the wall above the lever you just activated. In this room, you will find some Handgun Ammo and another fan, which is powered by the terminal you just hacked again. You already know how this works: use the EMF Visualizer until the fan blades explode, then crawl through the opening.
When you reach the Incinerator, climb the stairs, read the Sept. Inspection (Week 2) file, and pull the lever. Yes, you are foolish enough to think that climbing into an industrial incinerator is a good idea. Collect the ID Wristband at the back, and you will become trapped inside.
Take out the EMF Visualizer and aim downward and to the right of the corpse to locate the first circuit panel.
Follow the cable to the next panel, but do not hack it. Instead, continue following the yellow cable until you reach another panel above the door, which you must hack. The circuit will explode. Now return to the panel you skipped and hack it.
The yellow cable will continue upward. Once again, follow the cable but do not hack the panel, instead continuing to another one above the door. Hack it to make it explode. Finally, return to the previous panel and hack it. The cable will lead you to the final circuit, which you must hack to open the door. Now simply go through the door in the eastern wall and follow the only available route until a cutscene begins.
When you regain control of Leon, you will need to find your partner.
