Difficulty Levels and Differences

When starting the game, regardless of whether you play as Leon or Claire, you will have three difficulty levels to choose from. These are the differences between them:

Assisted

  • Easy mode.
  • Enemies take fewer hits to defeat.
  • Enemies deal less damage.
  • Your health gradually regenerates over time, although it will never recover completely.
  • You cannot unlock infinite-ammo weapons by achieving an S rank on this difficulty.

Standard

  • Normal mode.
  • Enemies deal a normal amount of damage and have standard durability.
  • You can earn rewards by achieving an S rank upon completing the game.

Hardcore

  • Hard mode.
  • Enemies deal significantly more damage.
  • Enemies are significantly more resilient.
  • You can earn rewards by achieving an S rank upon completing the game.
