
Among the many points of interest you can find in Onimusha: Way of the Sword are Oni Glyphs. At these locations, you can use Oni Vision to activate a special Glyph with various effects. Most commonly, they make hidden Treasures appear, although some can also activate Oni Gates or repair paths so you can cross them.
These are the Oni Glyphs you can find in the Kiyomizu-dera Temple area:
You'll have to use this Glyph as part of the story during The Stage is Set at Kiyomizu.
You'll find this Glyph in the house in the northeastern part of the map, in the large tatami room between the northern garden and the small inner courtyard.
Activating it makes one of the Kiyomizu-dera Treasures appear. It contains the Genma Note: Hitotsume Sho.
This Glyph is in the area where you fight Sasaki before unlocking the ability to detect Glyphs. You'll need to return after activating the first one so you can use Oni Vision to reveal it.
This Glyph also makes one of the Kiyomizu-dera Treasures appear. It contains the Genma Note: Sasaki Ganryu.

This Glyph is in the area where you fight the boss Daidara. Once you've defeated him, return to the area using the Spirit Mirrors.
Activating it makes one of the Oni Refuge Treasures appear. It contains the Genma Note: Daidara.
These are the Oni Glyphs you can find in Eastern Kyoto:
It's located in the northern area, northwest of the Higashioji Street Spirit Mirror. It's close to one of the Rifts you need to seal as part of the story. Head all the way west from the Spirit Mirror and you'll find the Rift at the end of the street.
Activating it makes one of the Eastern Kyoto Treasures appear. It contains the Genma Note: Hitotsume Gasa.
You'll find this Glyph on the bridge at the western edge of the area. The Oni Gauntlet will begin to glow as soon as you approach the wooden planks.
Using it makes one of the Eastern Kyoto Treasures appear.
This Glyph is located in the western Rift area, one of your objectives during Kyoto, Corrupted, although the Glyph itself doesn't appear during that mission.
Using it makes one of the Kyoto Treasures appear. It contains the Genma Note: Kubi Akari.
You can find this Glyph starting from Careful What You Wish For. It's in a courtyard north of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple.
To reach it, head into the alley along the northern side of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple and a monster will smash through the gate. Defeat it and cross the first courtyard to the north. Clear the second area of enemies and you'll find the Glyph on the eastern side. Using it makes another Kyoto Treasure appear. It contains the Genma Note: Togemaru.
Once you've cleared the Malice from Eastern Kyoto as part of the story, look for this Glyph in an alley leading behind one of the houses along Kyoto's eastern edge. Activating it makes a Treasure chest appear.
This Glyph is southeast of the previous one, on a rooftop. You can reach it by climbing a ladder on a house east-southeast of the position shown below.
Using it makes another Kyoto Treasure appear. It contains the Genma Note: Byakue.
This Glyph appears in the Yorimasa temple area, although for some reason it seems it can't be found until you've reached A Strength in Refuge.
A Treasure will appear containing the Genma Note: Rasho-gan.
This Glyph is in the northwestern corner of the map, down a slope beside the riverbank.
It makes another Kyoto Treasure chest appear.
This Glyph is connected to an Oni Gate and must be activated as part of the story. It's inside a well in the southern part of the fields.
This Glyph is activated automatically during the story, as part of Patching up the Pouch. It makes Treasure #20 in the area appear.
This Glyph is in southeastern Kyoto. Follow the steps for obtaining the Hozuki Pouch: Regeneration to find it.
It's located in the area where you fought Dohatsu-ten, in the southeastern corner of the map.
It makes a Treasure appear containing the Genma Note: Dohatsu-ten.
This Glyph is in the well north of the Kamo River island.
To reach this area, wait until you begin Bloodbath on the Bridge. Once you reach this point, you can get to the island by wall running southeast of its southern bank, heading south from the blockage on the Kamo River bridge.
Now simply head to the northern end, climb down the well and activate the Glyph, which allows you to use the second Oni Gate.
This Glyph is located in the old temple southwest of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple. You passed through this area while searching for materials for the Hozuki Pouch, but for some reason the Glyph doesn't appear until Bloodbath on the Bridge. It makes Treasure #32 in the region appear.
It's at the top of a watchtower in a courtyard southwest of the previous Glyph, among the alleys and buildings in this sector. There is more than one route into this courtyard. Activating it makes a Treasure appear.
To reach this Glyph, first head south from the intersection west of Gojo Street - West. This takes you to a storehouse containing a ladder.
This storehouse leads into the courtyard to the north, where you need to clear a Weaver Barrier by destroying two Weavers: one on the watchtower and another hidden behind a jar inside the storehouse, beside the ladder you climb down. Once the barrier is gone, open the gate to the northern courtyard and pass through the opening in the northeastern corner to reach the Glyph.
You'll find this Glyph west of the previous one, at the dock. From the previous Glyph, simply open the northern gate and head toward the riverbank. It makes a Treasure appear containing a Mirror of Revival.
A chest will appear and you'll obtain Oni Cloth (Aggressor).
It's located on the bridge in the southwestern corner of Kyoto.
It makes a Treasure appear containing the Genma Note: Benkei.
This Glyph is activated during Chance Encounters - Hidden Treasure No. 1. It makes Eastern Kyoto Treasure #46 appear. It contains Fine Silk Cloth and Oni Stone x2.
This Glyph is activated during Chance Encounters - Hidden Treasure No. 2. It makes Eastern Kyoto Treasure #49 appear.
This Glyph is just south of Eastern Kyoto Treasure #53. Follow the directions for reaching that chest, destroy the nearby Malice Barrier and you'll find the Glyph at the altar. Activating it makes a new Treasure appear containing Oni Cloth (Resistance).
You'll find this Glyph in the northeasternmost part of Kyoto. Once the Malice recedes, head to the temple entrance and you'll come across a Weaver Barrier.
The Weaver is to the north, beyond the wooden scaffolding. Climb the ladder and drop down to reach it. Afterwards, enter the temple and head south, defeat the Byakue, take the ladder to the southeastern courtyard, continue northwest and squeeze through the openings to reach the northwestern corner, where you'll find the Glyph.
It makes a Treasure appear containing Oni Cloth (Awakening).
From the previous Glyph, open the door in the northwestern corner and climb down the well. The Glyph is at the end and activates Oni Gate #3.
This Glyph is activated during Chance Encounters - Hidden Treasure No. 3. It makes Treasure #64 appear, containing Fine Silk Cloth and Power Stone x2.
This Glyph doesn't appear until you've completed Mysteries of Kyoto - The Faceless. Once you've done so, climb the ladder in the southwestern corner of the group of houses southwest of Yasaka Shrine again. The Glyph is at the foot of the ladder after you enter the building.
It makes Eastern Kyoto Treasure #65 appear, containing a Mirror of Revival.
You'll activate this Glyph during Chance Encounters - Hidden Treasure No. 4. It makes Treasure #66 appear.
You can reach this Glyph starting from Storm Chaser. It's beside the southern entrance to Yasaka Shrine, in the northeastern corner of the map.
It makes a Treasure appear containing Sun-Dried Hozuki.
You can find these Glyphs starting from In the Light of an Icy Moon. They're located at Kennin-ji, a place you'll already know well. They make Treasures #70 and #71 appear, containing the Genma Note: Ifuu and Genma Note: Burai, respectively.
This is the Glyph used during Chance Encounters - Hidden Treasure No. 5.
This Glyph only appears after completing The Way of the Sword, either during the postgame or in New Game+. It's in the northeastern corner of the Rokudo-chinnoji Temple courtyard. It makes Treasure #72 appear, containing the Genma Note: Yoshitsune.
These are the Oni Glyphs you can find in the Underground Laboratory:
You'll find this Glyph in the southeasternmost part of Underground Level 3, inside a corridor.
A Treasure appears containing the Genma Note: Chijiko.
It's located west of the Grand Theater Spirit Mirror, near the end of the area.
Activating it makes a Treasure appear containing the Genma Note: Kogashira.

You'll find this Glyph in the area where you fought Greater Nue.
Using it makes a Treasure appear containing the Genma Note: Greater Nue.

This Glyph is in the Mount Oe valley area, west of the Cave Area Spirit Mirror. From the Spirit Mirror, head south and then south again at the intersection until you reach the ladder. From there, follow the only available path to the platform west of the Spirit Mirror, where you'll find the Glyph.
It makes the first Treasure in the area appear. It contains the Genma Note: Oboro Garasu.
This Glyph is west of the intersection before the island with the dancing Genma.
It makes a Treasure appear containing the Genma Note: Hirehime.
After defeating the boss in this area, head to the northern side of the Castle Courtyard gate to find it.
It makes a Treasure appear containing the Genma Note: Shuten Doji.
