Among the collectibles in Onimusha: Way of the Sword, one type you can find is the Lion Dog. These Oni dogs become available to search for once The Light of Vengeance becomes available. As you rescue Lion Dogs, you can speak with Lady Murasaki in the Yasaka Shrine area to receive new Sword Appearances.
These are the Lion Dogs you can find in the Kiyomizu-dera Temple area:
In the northern area, along the path beyond the Malice Barrier.
In the area where you fought Sasaki.
In the area west of the Oni Refuge gate, southwest of the previous Lion Dog.
These are the Lion Dogs you can find in Eastern Kyoto:
West of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple.
South of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple.
Northwest of Yorimasa's Altar, north of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple. The Lion Dog is in front of the Stout Pillar altar.
East of Yasaka Pagoda, east of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple.
This Lion Dog is inside the pagoda tower. There's a door at the base that lets you enter and climb the stairs to reach it.
In the southeasternmost part of the region, southeast of Kiyomizu-zaka Slope.
In the southeastern part of the fields, south-southwest of the previous one.
From this Lion Dog onward, the next ones appear starting in Bloodbath on the Bridge. You'll find this Lion Dog in the courtyard of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple.
You'll find this Lion Dog in the southeastern corner of Toribeno, the southeasternmost section of the map.
The next Lion Dog is southwest of the entrance to Toribeno, in the southeastern corner of Kyoto's southern fields.
There's another Lion Dog in the southwestern corner of Kyoto's southern fields, on the opposite side from the previous one. It's inside a house.
This Lion Dog is on the street leading toward the southwesternmost corner of the map. If you follow our directions to reach Oni Glyph #16, you can open the gate from this side and reach it now. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for the Malice to recede so you can approach from the northern street.
The following Lion Dogs don't appear until you reach The Demon on the Mount. The first one is in the eastern part of the sandbar, in the northwestern corner of Kyoto.
This Lion Dog is in the central area west of Shijo Street.
Go around the compound from the west, pass behind the enclosed courtyard and crawl beneath the straw bales to find the Lion Dog beside a ladder.
You'll find this Lion Dog in the southwestern corner of Kyoto, right on the eastern side of the bridge in the southwestern corner.
This Lion Dog is in the southeastern part of the southern fields, north of Toribeno.
You'll find this Lion Dog in the rear courtyard of Rokudo-chinnoji Temple.
The following Lion Dogs only appear starting from The Clash at Rendaino. This Lion Dog is northwest of the Kamo River - East Spirit Mirror.
This Lion Dog is southeast of Yasaka Shrine, in northeastern Eastern Kyoto.
There's another Lion Dog southeast of the previous one.
Head south from the previous Lion Dog to find another one.
The final Lion Dog in Kyoto is in the southwestern corner of the region.

This Lion Dog appears when The Roots of All Evil begins. You'll find it in the garden in the southern area.
This Lion Dog appears when The Roots of All Evil begins. You'll find it in the northern area, beside the Nue Pond Spirit Mirror.

This Lion Dog appears when The Roots of All Evil begins. It's in the southeastern area, near the Palace Entrance Spirit Mirror.
These are the Lion Dogs you can find on Mount Oe:
You'll find it northwest of Mount Oe Entrance.
You'll find this Lion Dog northwest of Ruins Area I.
It's south of Ruins Area II, inside the building's attic.
It's located north of Castle Entrance.
The second-to-last Lion Dog in this region is east of the Cave I Spirit Mirror. It's inside the western building, down in the pit.
The final Lion Dog on Mount Oe is in the Storehouse area.

You'll find this Lion Dog in the northern part of the Temple area.
This second Lion Dog is in the southeastern part of the village in Hozukyo Gorge.
The final Lion Dog is on the bridge in the southwestern part of Hozukyo Gorge.
