As in any game worth its salt, when you reach the end of the story in Resident Evil Requiem, you will see a closing sequence that brings the game to an end. However, unlike most games in the series, Requiem has more than one ending. To clear up any doubts, we will explain how to see them all.

For obvious reasons, a minor spoiler is unavoidable when explaining the requirements, although we will reveal only what is strictly necessary.

How to get the bad ending

When you reach the end of Chapter 16, you will have to make a choice: release or destroy. If you choose destroy, you will see the bad ending. It brings the game to a very bleak conclusion, is considerably shorter and offers no real sense of closure.

How to get the good ending

When you reach the end of Chapter 16, you will have to make a choice: release or destroy. If you choose release, you will see the good ending after defeating the game's final boss. This ending is much longer and includes more scenes, including post-credits scenes. It also unlocks Grace's Report in the Special Content menu, which provides an extensive overview of many of the events that took place.

Can you see both endings in a single playthrough?

Yes. Regardless of which ending you choose first, after seeing it you will be allowed to return to the point immediately before the decision. You can then select the other option to see the second ending. It could not be easier.
