Capcom has now opened preorders for Resident Evil Requiem, the latest instalment in its iconic horror series, which will launch on 27 February for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. This marks the series’ first appearance on Epic’s digital storefront, where buyers will receive exclusive items for Fortnite, including an outfit based on Grace, the game’s protagonist.
Below, we take a look at all the available editions, their contents, prices and platforms, as well as the bonuses included when preordering a physical or digital copy of Resident Evil Requiem. Remember that all physical Switch 2 editions use a Game-Key Card.
All preorders of Requiem include Grace’s Apocalypse costume as an early-purchase bonus. This means it is included with both the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition on every platform. You can see what the costume looks like in the image below:
It should be noted that this bonus is available for a limited time and may be sold separately in the future. It will be awarded to all players who preorder a copy of the game before 11:59 p.m. on 26 February 2026.
The Standard Edition of Resident Evil Requiem is the most basic version and only includes the base game alongside the preorder bonus mentioned above. It is available in both physical and digital formats and costs 69.99 euros on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store, or 79.99 euros on consoles for PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2.
The Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil Requiem is the most expensive version available, but in return it offers a wealth of special extras, including five unique costumes for the two protagonists, two screen filters, two charms, an audio pack inspired by the classic games, a collectible file and four skins for different weapons. A physical SteelBook Edition featuring a metal case and limited-edition lenticular card will also be available.
This edition is available in both physical and digital formats and costs 79.99 euros on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store, or 89.99 euros on consoles for PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2.
Finally, Resident Evil Requiem has a third special edition known as the Resident Evil Generation Pack. This edition is exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2. It is a Game-Key Card bundle containing Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition, Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and Resident Evil Requiem.
In Spain, this edition is available exclusively from GAME for 99.99 euros and can be purchased until 11:59 p.m. on 31 March 2026.
During the Road to Requiem digital event, presented by Maggie Robertson—the voice of Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village—Capcom showcased the editions and additional products accompanying the game’s release. One of the highlights was the Resident Evil Requiem Pro Controller for Switch 2.
As you can see in the image above, the controller features a metallic black gunmetal finish and will be available on the same day as the game. Capcom also revealed the franchise’s first official amiibo figure, based on Grace Ashcroft. It will be released in summer 2026, although its appearance has not yet been shown.
