While exploring the Patient Center in Resident Evil Requiem, Grace will encounter several simple locks that can be opened using lockpicks. Lockpicks are consumable items, and there are only just enough of them to open every lock, making them a scarce resource. Opening these locks will reward you with materials used to craft ammunition for the Requiem, making them extremely useful for quickly eliminating threats. Here are the locations of every simple lock and lockpick, listed in the order you will encounter them as you progress through the story:
These are all the simple locks you will find in the Patient Center, listed in the order in which they appear.
It can be found in the corridor between the Kitchen and the restrooms in the west wing. It is a drawer built into the north wall.
It is on the south wall of the East Wing Lounge, in the Patient Center's east wing.
The drawer contains Rare Metal.
It is next to the door leading to the President's Office, on the first floor of the west wing. You will pass it as part of the story, and it should be marked on your map.
The drawer contains Rare Metal.
You will find a locked locker in the Bunk Room in the tunnels. To reach it, you must insert a Joint Plug into the southern socket. This will open the door immediately south of the power distributor.
The locker is in the southeastern corner of the room and contains Rare Metal.
It can be found near the previous lock. Continue progressing through the story while exploring the basement until you can enter the Inspection Room from the north by activating the Cart. As soon as you enter, turn left toward the northeastern corner of the room to find several lockers, one of which requires a lockpick.
It contains a piece of Rare Metal.
These are all the lockpicks you will find in the Patient Center, listed in the order in which they appear.
Head to the Chief Researcher's Office in the east wing. You will pass through this area as part of the story.
Search the southeastern corner of the area with the typewriter to find the Lockpick.
You will find this lockpick in the Janitor's Office, in the southwestern corner of the ground floor.
You will pass through this corridor as part of the story. The lockpick is inside a locker opposite the typewriter.
The third lockpick is in the Office in the southwestern section of the Patient Center's first floor.
You can reach this room by climbing the stairs at the western end of the corridor outside the Janitor's Office, in the southwestern corner of the ground floor. This is the same corridor where you obtained the previous lockpick, so it is hard to miss.
This lockpick is in the tunnels in the northwestern section of the Patient Center's basement. When the story takes you to the room west of the Furnace, look for an open duct in the northwestern corner, north of the cart.
You will find the lockpick inside the tunnel.
You will find it in the Boiler Room in the tunnels. You must pass through this area as part of the story, so search near the eastern wall to find it.
Be careful not to insert the plug into the southern socket, or the area will become electrified.
