Throughout the story of Resident Evil Requiem, you’ll have to tackle a few puzzles to progress or earn additional rewards. We’re not talking about finding item X to open lock Y, but proper old-school puzzles whose solutions may either change or remain the same depending on the circumstances. In this case, we’ll explain how to solve the Puzzle Box (II) puzzle, which you’ll encounter during Patient Center (III).
You’ll come across this puzzle as you make your way through Patient Center (III). It can be found in the southeastern corner of the Chief Researcher’s Office, on the first floor of the Patient Center’s east wing.
The first thing you need to do is get the Corrosive Agent from the Conference Room, located west of the hallway on this same floor. There are several enemies along the way, and you won’t be able to avoid fighting them. Once you have it, you can use the Corrosive Agent on the padlock. You’ll then need to enter a code.
The solution should be Star - Sun - Moon - Sun. In case the code changes, you can work it out by examining the photos in the room. The framed photo is a red herring that corresponds to a different box, while the other two provide the two halves of the code. Inside, you’ll find the Sun Quartz, which is required to progress through the story, and a Leather-Bound Notebook. Examine it to obtain the Spencer’s Research I and Unlocking the Organ Transport Box documents.
