Leon and Grace can use a wide variety of weapons in Resident Evil Requiem. Naturally, these are the tools you will use to dispose of every infected enemy and creature that stands in your way. This section of the guide explains how to obtain every weapon, how to upgrade them, and provides information about the post-game special weapons, infinite ammo and more. Bear in mind that this section contains unavoidable spoilers, so continue reading at your own risk.

Grace's weapons

These are all the weapons you can obtain as Grace during your first playthrough:

S&S M232

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons: Grace's S&S M232 in the inventory inspection menu

This is Grace's standard weapon at the beginning of the game. It is better than trying to defend yourself with your fists when you weigh fifty kilos soaking wet, I suppose. Although you lose it as part of the story, it can be recovered during Patient Center (III). Once the story grants you access to the west wing, you will find it in the northwestern corner of the Bar and Lounge, in the sink behind the counter.

Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Requiem

It is obtained automatically as part of the story and changes hands several times. It is extremely powerful and perfect for those situations in which you find yourself in an argument and need to settle the debate quickly and decisively.

Makeshift Knife

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Makeshift Knife

This is one of Grace's weapons. It allows you to defend yourself if an infected enemy manages to grab you. It is not intended for direct attacks. Although you can use it this way, it will break almost immediately and barely deals any damage, as it is primarily a defensive tool. You will find several throughout the game, and they can also be crafted.

B934

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Grace's B934

This is one of Grace's weapons. It is a basic handgun that you can use to defend yourself against infected enemies. It is not particularly powerful, but a bullet to the head will at least make enemies stagger, allowing you to decide whether it is worth spending more ammunition or whether you should retreat. It can be found in the Dining Hall of the Patient Center (III).

You will pass through this room as part of the story.

Hunting Knife

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Hunting Knife

This is one of Grace's weapons. It is more useful than the Makeshift Knife, although it will also eventually break with use. There are a couple scattered throughout the story, but they cannot be crafted.

Hemolytic Injector

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Hemolytic Injector

The Hemolytic Injector is a consumable item that can be obtained while playing as Grace. It allows you to eliminate zombies from stealth or while they are stunned. It is consumed when used, so you should carefully consider when to spend one. Naturally, you will find several throughout the game, and they can also be crafted.

Blood Extractor

Grace's Blood Extractor is a rechargeable tool rather than a weapon in itself. It allows you to extract blood from buckets or bloodstains, filling a reserve that can then be used to craft items. It can be obtained in the Hematology Lab on the ground floor of the east wing of the Patient Center (III).

The Blood Extractor's capacity can be increased by 50 units by obtaining the Master Instruction Manual from the Game Room in the west wing of the Patient Center's ground floor. It costs six Ancient Coins.

Molotov Cocktails

These are consumable items for Grace. You can craft them after obtaining the blueprints during Patient Center (V). To find them, you must insert a Joint Plug into the power distributor in the southern corridor.

This grants you access to the Bunk Room, directly behind the southern door. You will find the blueprints on a table. You can find several throughout the game, and they can also be crafted.

Acid Bottle

This is a throwable weapon for Grace. It is a consumable item, and you will obtain several of them. It is extremely effective against... let us just say enemies that have no skin and whose brains are clearly visible. You can find several throughout the game, although they only begin appearing near the end. They can also be crafted after obtaining the blueprints from the Monitor Room in the same chapter in which they first appear.

Bear in mind that the blueprints do not carry over to subsequent playthroughs.

Leon's weapons

These are all the weapons you can obtain as Leon during your first playthrough:

Alligator Snapper

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Alligator Snapper

This is Leon's standard weapon at the beginning of the game. It is not particularly powerful in its basic form, but it is an excellent weapon with which to begin investigations that require lethal force.

Requiem

It is obtained automatically as part of the story and changes hands several times. It is extremely powerful and perfect for those situations in which you find yourself in an argument and need to settle the debate quickly and decisively.

Hand Axe

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Hand Axe

It is already in Leon's inventory when you begin playing as him. This melee weapon can be used not only to attack, but also to parry and open certain special doors. It is ideal whenever Leon needs to get up close and personal during a close-quarters encounter.

MSBG 500

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Leon's MSBG 500 in the inventory

This shotgun for Leon is exactly what you would expect from a shotgun: a weapon designed specifically for close-range combat, with the potential to kill in a single shot if you fire a blast directly into an enemy's head at point-blank range. This shotgun can be obtained during Patient Center (IV). It will be directly in your path shortly after this section begins, next to the Attic Chunk. It is impossible to miss.

Hand Grenade

Resident Evil Requiem - Weapons, Leon's Hand Grenade

This is a consumable item for Leon. It is easy to use: pull the pin and throw it at your target. Throw the grenade, not the pin. Anything in the blast radius will be reduced to entrails and ashes, but remember to watch out for ricochets and confined spaces. Naturally, you will find several throughout the game, and they can also be crafted.

You can combine two of them to create a Double Hand Grenade.

Classic 70

Resident Evil Requiem - Leon's weapons, Classic 70

This bolt-action rifle for Leon is obtained automatically as part of the story. It is powerful and has excellent stopping power, although it must be reloaded after every shot unless you upgrade it.

Gal

Resident Evil Requiem - Leon's weapons, Gal

This is a submachine gun for Leon. It can be obtained in Chapter 10. While searching for the batteries in the Underground Garage, you must head to the northwestern corner to collect one of them. The submachine gun is in the same room.

Marksman 1A

Resident Evil Requiem - Leon's weapons, Marksman 1A

This is a semi-automatic rifle for Leon. It can be found inside BSAA Container #03. The rifle has an integrated suppressor. If you kill a distant zombie with a headshot, none of the other enemies nearby will notice.

Silencer 9

Resident Evil Requiem - Leon's weapons, Silencer 9

This is a suppressed handgun for Leon. It can be obtained from the Supply Box. It is an absolutely fantastic weapon for your first playthrough once it becomes available, and its suppressor is extremely useful for eliminating zombies without alerting the other enemies to your presence, provided you use it correctly.

990-TAC

Resident Evil Requiem - Leon's weapons, 990-TAC

A powerful semi-automatic shotgun for Leon. It can be obtained from the Supply Box.

Stiri REVO3 A1

Resident Evil Requiem - Leon's weapons, Stiri REV03 A1

A submachine gun for Leon. It can be obtained from the Supply Box.

W870 Police

Resident Evil Requiem - Leon's weapons, W870 Police

A shotgun for Leon. It can be obtained during Chapter 12 (warning: spoilers). Near the end of this section, you will pass through a shop where a cutscene plays. As soon as it ends, check the shelf in the corner of the same room.

Deadly Edge

This is a hand axe for Leon. It can be obtained during Chapter 14. You will find it on the ground after defeating a mandatory enemy that you must face in melee combat.
