Resident Evil 4 Remake: How to Get Infinite Ammo

With all the weapons featured in Resident Evil 4 Remake, the series’ classic option to unlock weapons with infinite ammo simply had to make a comeback. This time around, you can get infinite ammo for every weapon, and this section of our guide explains exactly how:

Infinite ammo for the Infinite Rocket Launcher, Chicago Sweeper, and Handcannon

These are special weapons, and you can unlock infinite ammo for them fairly easily. Naturally, you’ll need to unlock them first and then meet the relevant requirements:

• Infinite Rocket Launcher: this weapon comes with infinite ammo by default. Just buy it and you’re good to go.
• Chicago Sweeper: its exclusive upgrade permanently unlocks infinite ammo. You can get it by purchasing all the weapon’s other upgrades or using an Exclusive Upgrade Ticket. Two tickets are available in each playthrough from the Merchant, costing 30 and 40 Spinels.
• Handcannon: its exclusive upgrade permanently unlocks infinite ammo. You can get it by purchasing all the weapon’s other upgrades or using an Exclusive Upgrade Ticket. Two tickets are available in each playthrough from the Merchant, costing 30 and 40 Spinels.

Infinite ammo for every weapon

It’s also possible to unlock infinite ammo across the board. The requirement is a little tougher than those listed above, as you’ll first need to earn an S+ Rank on Professional difficulty. The method and tips are basically the same as on Hardcore, although we recommend that you swap the Chicago Sweeper for the Handcannon and avoid saving until you’ve completed Chapter 2. From that point on, you should only save at the end of each chapter, as earning an S+ Rank on Professional requires you to save no more than 14 times.

Earning this rank unlocks the Cat Ears in the Extra Content Shop, where you can purchase them for 2,000 CP. Once you’ve bought them, equip them as an accessory from the Extras menu and all your weapons will have infinite ammo.
