Resident Evil 4 Remake: All Village Treasure Locations

The Village is the first major region in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Both this area and the other two regions you’ll explore are packed with collectibles. In this section, we’ll show you where to find all the Village treasures.

• Note: aside from one treasure at the Farm, we won’t collect any treasures before Chapter 2 to avoid confusion later on.
• There are a total of 39 treasures in the Village (40, although one doesn’t count. We’ve included it anyway because it’s a unique item), spread across 15 areas.
• As with the other regions, you won’t be able to reach every treasure in an area the first time you visit it, at least in most cases.
• There are a total of 5 Small Keys in the Village.
• We’ll tell you the exact chapter in which we recommend collecting each treasure.
• Bear in mind that some treasures are missable, so make sure you pick them up when indicated.
• Every treasure is included in our spoiler-free walkthrough, which is optimized for getting 100% completion.

Treasures at the Farm

There are 4 treasures in the Farm area:

Flagon

You can get this treasure in Chapter 1. Drop down from the windmill area, just as you do to reach the locked shed, and open the red chest.

Pearl Pendant (2)

You can get this treasure in Chapter 3 (you can also get it during Chapter 1, but if you’re following our guide, you’ll collect it in Chapter 3). Head west and look toward the windmill above the well. Shoot the lantern hanging from the blades when it’s positioned so that it lands outside the well. Otherwise, the pendant will get dirty.

Ruby (4)

You can get this treasure in Chapter 3 (you can also get it during Chapter 1, but if you’re following our guide, you’ll collect it in Chapter 3). It’s inside a drawer in the northeastern barn.

Antique Pipe (2)

You can get this treasure in Chapter 5. It’s inside Wayshrine #04.

Treasures at the Abandoned Factory

There are 5 treasures in the Abandoned Factory area:

Sapphire

You can get this treasure during Chapter 2. It’s in the southwestern section of the factory, which you initially pass through without any weapons.

Elegant Mask

You can get this treasure during Chapter 2. It’s inside Locked Drawer #03.

Sapphire (2)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 2. It’s in the area after the Hexagonal Emblem puzzle. Follow the southern part of the map heading west and crouch under the obstacle to reach a chest containing the treasure.

Pearl Pendant

You can get this treasure during Chapter 2. It’s on the path northwest of the factory, and you’ll need to shoot a hanging lantern to make it fall. The catch is that you must get the timing just right or it’ll get dirty, making it worth much less.

Sapphire (3)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 2. It’s to the right of the previous treasure. Shoot down the other hanging lantern to collect it.

Treasures in the Valley

There is 1 treasure in the Valley area:

Ruby

You can get this treasure during Chapter 2. It’s in the highest section, on the northern side of the Valley.

Treasures at the Village Chief’s Manor

There are 2 treasures in the Village Chief’s Manor area:

Ruby (2)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 2. It’s inside a drawer in the hallway along the northern wall of the ground floor.

Antique Camera

You can get this treasure during Chapter 5. Return to the upstairs bedroom with Ashley and have her climb up the wardrobe beside the bed (you’ll need to pull the lever hidden behind the painting to open the passage). The camera is in the attic.

Treasures in the Village Square

There are 4 treasures in the Village Square (some can be collected earlier than indicated):

Vintage Compass

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. It’s inside Locked Drawer #01.

Velvet Blue

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. It’s on the roof of the house in the northeastern section of the Village Square.

Ruby (3)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. It’s inside a shed on the path northeast of the Village.

Elegant Bangle

You can get this treasure during Chapter 5. It’s inside the northwestern shed. Give Ashley a boost through the opening in the wall so she can unlock the door from inside, allowing you to collect it.

Treasures in the Town Hall

There is 1 treasure in the Town Hall area:

Velvet Blue (2)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. Look up at the ceiling and find the hanging lantern, then shoot it down.

Treasures at the Church

There are 3 treasures in the Church area:

Elegant Headdress

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. It’s inside a chest behind the church.

Yellow Diamond

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s inside Locked Drawer #04.

Yellow Diamond (2)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 5. It’s upstairs, in the room where Ashley was being held. Shoot the hanging lantern to make it fall.

Treasures in the Quarry

There are 3 treasures in the Quarry area:

Ruby (5)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. It’s inside a hanging lantern in the middle of the Quarry.

Brass Pocket Watch

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. It’s inside Locked Drawer #05.

Butterfly Lamp

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. It’s inside Wayshrine #03.

Treasures at the Fish Farm

There is 1 treasure in the Fish Farm area:

Antique Pipe

You can get this treasure during Chapter 3. It’s inside a hanging lantern in the northern part of the flooded area.

Treasures at the Large Cave Shrine

There is 1 treasure in the Large Cave Shrine area:

Velvet Blue (3)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s inside a hanging lantern in the southeastern section of the cave.

Treasures at the Lake

There are 6 treasures in the Lake area:

Alexandrite

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s at the southwestern dock, west of the Large Cave Shrine. You’ll need to shoot the hanging lantern above you to collect it.

Splendid Bangle

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s inside Wayshrine #01.

Alexandrite (2)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. You’ll find it on the shipwreck in the middle of the Lake.

Red9

You can get this weapon during Chapter 4. You’ll find it on the shipwreck in the middle of the Lake. On your second playthrough, it will be replaced by a Gold Bar (L).

Velvet Blue (4)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s on the small island east of the Lake.

Depraved Idol

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. You’ll need to solve the Stone Pedestal puzzle.

Treasures at the Small Cave Shrine

There is 1 treasure in the Small Cave Shrine area:

Ruby (6)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s in the upper section of the Small Cave Shrine, northeast of the Lake. Shoot the hanging lantern to collect it.

Treasures at the Lakeside Settlement

There are 3 treasures in the Lakeside Settlement area:

Red Gemstone Ring

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s in the basement of the house where Luis was being held.

Pearl Bangle

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s inside Wayshrine #02.

Gold Bar

You can get this treasure during Chapter 4. It’s inside Locked Drawer #02.

Treasures at the Checkpoint

There are 3 treasures in the Checkpoint area:

Yellow Diamond (3)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 6. It’s just after the Merchant, in the narrow area filled with enemies. Climb the stairs to the southwest to find the chest containing the treasure.

Chalice of Atonement

You can get this treasure during Chapter 6. It’s inside the shed to the north, just beyond the area where you found the previous treasure. You’ll pass through here as part of the story, but watch out for the enemy waiting inside.

Elegant Headdress (2)

You can get this treasure during Chapter 6. It’s inside Wayshrine #05.

Treasures at the Slaughterhouse

There is 1 treasure in the Slaughterhouse area (2 if you include the item that doesn’t count toward the total, which we’ve listed here because it’s unique).

Méndez’s False Eye

You can get this item during Chapter 6. It will be lying on the ground after the fight. This treasure doesn’t count toward the Village treasure total.

Emerald

You can get this treasure during Chapter 6. After leaving the Slaughterhouse, head up the slope leading toward the Castle. Look up to spot a hanging lantern, then shoot it to make the gem fall to the ground.
