Among the many enemies in Resident Evil 4 Remake are several that serve as area bosses. There are only a few of them, and their unique battles force you to fight under specific conditions. In this section of the guide, we will help you defeat Krauser, the boss encountered in Chapter 11.
The battle against Krauser is different from the others, as you can only use your knife and melee attacks against him. The basic strategy is very simple: you must parry his attacks and evade whenever the corresponding prompt appears. Successfully parrying an attack will create an opportunity to perform a melee attack. Bear in mind that he will try to leap over your head and move behind you, preventing you from seeing where his next attack is coming from. Unfortunately, there is little more we can do to help, as you must learn his combos to survive this encounter.
There are knives scattered around the arena that will prove useful if your own knives break. Be patient and continue attacking him until a cutscene plays and the battle ends.
Remember that Krauser is only one of the many enemies in the game. Although this particular encounter restricts you to using a knife, Leon will be able to use his many available weapons against other enemies.
