All Glyphs in Hell is Us and How to Get Them

Here are all the Glyphs you can obtain in Hell is Us and how to find them. Equip these unique accessories to your weapons to improve your combat effectiveness.

Besides obtaining and upgrading your weapons, in Hell is Us you can also find items known as Glyphs. These are a type of weapon accessory that lets you apply special effects with a variety of uses. You can equip several Glyphs on each weapon, but you'll first need to upgrade them to unlock their slots.

How to Equip Glyphs on Weapons

To equip Glyphs on weapons, you must first unlock the option to upgrade weapons, which happens as part of the story. Once you've done so, when you try to increase a weapon's Grade, you'll be asked to choose one of the four Lymbic paths: Rage, Ecstasy, Grief or Terror.

Once you've upgraded a weapon to Grade 2 along any of these paths, you can highlight it in the loadout menu and select Add Glyphs. Bear in mind that a weapon can only use Glyphs matching its Lymbic Sphere. In other words, if your weapon belongs to the Rage Sphere, it can only use Rage Glyphs—the red ones—and so on.

Animosity

It can be found in the trench area of Senedra Forest. From the trench save point, head up the slope and turn left. Continue straight ahead, leaving the ruins behind you and to your right, until you see the Spire at the bottom of some stairs. There is a tunnel directly beneath the stairs.

Recoil

It is obtained by completing the Secrets of the Ram Mystery.

Perfect Guard

It causes you to lose less Stamina when blocking normal enemy attacks. It can be found in Vitalis' storeroom in the Acasa Marshes. You'll pass through this area as part of the story. The room is small, so the items are impossible to miss.

Lingering Pain

It deals constant area damage around you. It is obtained at the same time as Perfect Guard.

Rage Spike

This Glyph lets you fire an explosive spear at your target, dealing area damage at the point of impact. It is obtained at the same time as Perfect Guard.

Frightful Ambush

It creates a damaging field around you. It is obtained at the same time as Perfect Guard.

Delirium

It causes enemies within its radius to take Stamina damage, making it easier to reduce their Stamina to 0 and perform a special critical hit. It is obtained at the same time as Perfect Guard.

Lymbic Mending

You recover Health while holding down the button assigned to Lymbic Mending. It is obtained by solving the Lymbic Chest - Vitalis' Basement in Acasa Mystery.

Chromatic Shield

This Glyph gives you additional protection for the duration of its effect. It is obtained as part of the Victor's Vigil Good Deed.

This Glyph creates a damaging area. It is one of the rewards for completing

In addition to obtaining and upgrading your weapons, in Hell is Us you can also find items called Glyphs. How to Equip Glyphs to Weapons

To equip Glyphs to weapons, you must first unlock the option to upgrade weapons, which happens as part of the story. Once you've done this, whenever you increase a weapon's Grade, you'll be asked to choose one of the four Lymbic paths: Rage, Ecstasy, Grief or Terror.

This Glyph creates a vortex that pulls in and stuns enemies. It can be found in the Vault of the Copse.

Wave of Wrath

This Glyph allows you to make the ground erupt in a straight line in front of you. It can be found in the Vault of the Copse.

Feed on Fear

It allows you to drain the target's Health while holding down the assigned button. It can be found in the Vault of the Copse.

Overwhelm

When you hold down the assigned button, the Glyph charges through up to three stages. Releasing it knocks back enemies within its radius. It can be found in the Vault of the Copse.

Fury

This Glyph is extremely useful against entities linked by umbilical cords, as it can damage all of them at once. It's especially handy against groups of Hollows. It is obtained as a reward for completing Good Deeds.

Lymbic Slivers

You fire projectiles that become lodged in the target. It is obtained as a reward from Gildas after closing the Acasa Marshes Timeloop.

Berserk

It makes your character immune to interruptions and stuns for the duration of the effect. It is obtained as a reward from Gildas after closing the Acasa Marshes Timeloop.

Void - Enhanced

You create a constant damaging effect that can be detonated to deal even more damage. It can be found in the Vault of the Knoll in Vyssa Hills.

Animosity - Enhanced

You snare an enemy and pull it towards you, stunning it in the process. It can be found in the Vault of the Knoll in Vyssa Hills.

Rapture - Enhanced

This Glyph allows you to charge a damaging area around you. The longer you charge it, the greater its range and damage. It can be found in the Vault of the Knoll in Vyssa Hills.

Gluttony - Enhanced

An improved version of Gluttony. It is obtained by solving the Lymbic Door - Lymbic Forge Mystery.

Shriek of Terror

It allows you to launch a projectile that travels forward and damages everything in its path. It is obtained by solving the Lymbic Door - Lymbic Forge Mystery.

Nightfade

It allows you to turn invisible. It is obtained by solving the Lymbic Chest - Lymbic Forge Main Hall Mystery.

Void

The basic version of Void—strangely enough, you obtain the improved version first. It is obtained by solving the Lymbic Chest - Lymbic Forge Dormitory Mystery.

Lymbic Slivers - Elite

A much more powerful version of Lymbic Slivers that deals even more damage. It can be found in the Vault of the Mere in Lake Cynon.

Perfect Guard - Elite

A much more powerful version of Perfect Guard. It further reduces Stamina loss for the duration of the effect. It can be found in the Vault of the Mere in Lake Cynon.

Eager Embrace

This Glyph allows you to teleport next to a target, strike it and stun it. It is one of the rewards for completing Good Deeds.

Nightfade - Elite

A much more powerful version of Nightfade. You can obtain it from Gildas at the Watcher's Nest after closing the Talju Timeloop.

Chromatic Shield - Elite

A much more powerful version of Chromatic Shield. You can obtain it from Gildas at the Watcher's Nest after closing the Talju Timeloop.

Interrupt - Enhanced

An improved version of Interrupt. It is one of the rewards for completing Good Deeds.

Frightful Ambush - Elite

The most powerful version of Frightful Ambush. It can be found in the Vault of the Beck in Marastan.

An improved version of Eager Embrace. It can be found while exploring Arcas Spire. When you reach the scaffolding save point in the lower part of the Spire, continue downwards and head north along the only available path until you reach the first two enemies. Pass underneath the bridge where one of them was standing, move forward a little, then turn the camera and look to your left to spot some boards leading upwards in the direction you came from.

An improved version of Shriek of Terror. It can be found on the second floor of the National Library—or rather, the first floor. To obtain it, enter the computer room on the second floor.

Rapture - Elite

The most powerful version of Rapture. It can be found inside the ruins in the Plains of Mist. Continue until you reach the Timeloop, turn west and keep going until you cross a bridge. Shortly afterwards, you'll pass a save point and enter a room with three exits: left, straight ahead and right.
