As you explore Hadea during the story of Hell is Us, it won't be long before you come across some strange black domes surrounded by distortions and, usually, enemies. The first time you approach one of these domes, the game will tell you that it is a Timeloop. However, it will be a while before you can destroy them. Once you do, the enemies in the area will disappear, gradually making more of the map safe to explore.
Before you can destroy Timeloops, it's best to wait until you meet Gildas Brom as part of the story. You'll meet him while exploring the Vyssa Hills, the third area in the game.
Speaking to him will reward you with the Guardian Detector and an Amine Prism - Sigma. The Detector is equipped like any other consumable item. When used, a kind of black trail will point you towards the nearest Timeloop Guardian (stand still, use the item and watch which way the trail moves). These are slightly stronger enemies that don't respawn. Once you've defeated every Guardian, you'll hear a strange sound and the Detector will stop producing the black trail.
Once it's safe to enter the Timeloop, the game will allow you inside, where you'll need to use the correct type of Amine Prism for that particular Timeloop. Not every Prism works with every Timeloop. However, there are far more Prisms than you actually need, so you generally don't need to worry too much about finding them. You'll collect plenty while completing the game's other activities.
In addition to the items you may occasionally find after destroying them, you can also speak to Gildas Brom at the Watcher's Nest and tell him about the Timeloops you've closed to claim a reward for each one.
This Timeloop is located west of the statue of the grieving knight in the Vyssa Hills. You'll need an Amine Prism - Sigma to destroy it, which you'll receive automatically as part of the Timeloop tutorial.
Speak to Gildas about the Timeloop to receive Tuning Stone - Weak x3, the Interrupt Glyph and The Blood Queen's Phalange.
You'll almost certainly see this Timeloop the first time you explore the Acasa Marshes. It is located east-southeast of Jova, and you should pass close to it while searching for the ON convoy.
Once you can enter it, you'll need to use an Amine Prism - Sigma. In our case, we obtained one from the Vault of the Copse. When you tell Gildas that you've closed the Timeloop, you'll receive Tuning Stone - Weak x3, the Lymbic Slivers Glyph and the Berserk Glyph.
The Lake Cynon Timeloop cannot be closed during your first visit, as you'll need to have completed several Lymbic Door Mysteries to reach all its Guardians. These Mysteries cannot be completed the first time you arrive in this area. This is because the final Guardian is behind the door associated with the Extortion Mystery, so you'll need to wait until you've completed it before you can eliminate every Guardian.
After that, the Timeloop can be found at the far end of the dam area, where you drain all the water from the reservoir. You'll have to pass through this area during your first visit. When you return, simply head towards the forge and continue to the far end of the waterfall area, pass through the tunnel and use the elevator to reach the Timeloop.
You'll need an Amine Prism - Theta to close it. Speak to Gildas about this Timeloop to receive the Rapture Glyph, the Fury - Enhanced Glyph and the Kolig's Providence Relic.
The Talju Timeloop is located west of the school, in the northeastern part of town. Visibility is almost nonexistent, but you should see it to the right of the barn where one of the NPCs involved in the area's Good Deeds left a blue flare burning.
You'll be able to defeat every Guardian during your first visit, and you'll need an Amine Prism - Theta. We used the one found in the Vault of the Mere at Lake Cynon.
After closing the Timeloop, speak to Gildas to receive the Nightfade - Elite Glyph, the Chromatic Shield - Elite Glyph and the Entropic Enigma Relic.
The Marastan Timeloop is very close to the starting point and can be closed during your first visit. From the APC, head straight along the road and take the first path leading south through the forest. Continue for a while until you reach a large clearing filled with ruins and enemies.
From the ruins, head northeast and follow the river. It won't be long before you find a side path leading to the Timeloop.
You'll need an Amine Prism - Theta to close it. If you follow the instructions for the Lymbic Chest - Marastan Ruins Mystery, you can obtain two Theta Prisms.
For closing the Timeloop, Gildas will give you the Recoil - Elite Glyph, the Overwhelm - Elite Glyph and the The Eternal Sands Relic.
This Timeloop must be closed as part of the story. For closing it, Gildas will give you the Shriek of Terror - Elite Glyph, the Interrupt - Elite Glyph and The Dream Aculeus, a Relic.
This Timeloop is located in the tunnels beneath Pathem Abbey, in the Acasa Marshes. You'll have to wait until you begin searching for the Keystone of Ecstasy before you can close it. It is located at the tunnel exit. As soon as you open the gate leading outside, you'll see it glowing beyond a stone archway.
It requires an Amine Prism - Theta. You should have at least two by the time you gain access to this area if you've been following the guide. Once you've cleared it, you can collect the Golden Clover from the same room, which activates The Protector Good Deed, as well as the Terracotta Oil Lamp and the Lymbic Rod of Terror, Z, which activates the Lymbic Chest - Acasa Eastern Ruins Mystery. Of course, you can also claim rewards from Gildas for closing this Timeloop: the Lingering Pain - Elite Glyph, the Eager Embrace - Elite Glyph and the Heart of Aria Relic.
This Timeloop can be found in Serpent's Maw, the area of tunnels and doors marked with symbols that forms part of the Vyssa Hills. More specifically, you will automatically pass the Timeloop while heading to collect the Token of the Palm. It is completely impossible to miss while progressing through the story.
It is possible to close this Timeloop as soon as you find it, since the final Guardian is in this same area. You'll need an Amine Prism - Theta, and you can obtain one from the nearby Lymbic Chest. As soon as you've cleared it, don't forget to collect the Francis Statuette. When you tell Gildas that you've closed the Timeloop, you'll receive the Masochistic Delight - Enhanced Glyph, the Frightful Ambush - Enhanced Glyph and the Knell of Waning Grief Relic.
This Timeloop is located in the ruins of the Plains of Mist. You must pass this Timeloop to progress through the story, so it is impossible to miss, although closing it is optional.
This Timeloop requires an Amine Prism - Rho. We had six by the time we reached this point, so you shouldn't have any trouble closing it. Speak to Gildas about this Timeloop to receive the Gluttony - Elite Glyph, the Lymbic Mending - Elite Glyph and the Wisdom of the Griffon Relic.
This Timeloop is located in the Jeljin excavation site. You'll see the Timeloop above you as you make your way through the area. When you reach that point, look for a pipe in the wall below the route you came from.
You'll find a ladder you can climb. Incidentally, this is the same route used to find the keys for the Never Worn Good Deed. The Timeloop is closed with an Amine Prism - Rho. Once it has been closed, you can collect Recording - Aster Portal 3.
Speak to Gildas about this Timeloop to receive the Void - Elite Glyph, the Berserk - Elite Glyph and Knell of Receding Rage.
This Timeloop in the Auriga Museum is located on B1, as its name suggests. To reach it, you'll need to continue until you obtain the Alpha Access Card, then find the room southwest of the training room.
That room contains a door leading to the cell corridor. Inside the corridor, you'll find another door that can be opened using the Alpha Access Card. The Timeloop is directly behind it, and you can close it using an Amine Prism - Rho. Speak to Gildas about this Timeloop to receive the Delirium - Elite Glyph, the Shared Pain - Elite Glyph and the Cyrene's Requiem Relic.
You'll automatically find this Timeloop as part of the story on B4 of the Auriga Museum.
Beside the Timeloop is a computer that can be unlocked with the code 7584. You'll see that it allows you to spawn Guardians, first the Rho Guardian and then the Sigma Guardian.
Defeat both of them and you should be able to close the Timeloop with an Amine Prism - Rho. Speak to Gildas about this Timeloop to receive the Animosity - Elite Glyph, the Feed on Fear - Elite Glyph and the Blessed Hand of Sethyris Relic.
This Timeloop is located behind the Lymbic Door - Senedra Hilltop. The final Guardian can also be found beyond the door.
The Timeloop is closed with an Amine Prism - Sigma. Speak to Gildas about it to receive the Waves of Grief - Enhanced Glyph, the Waves of Wrath - Enhanced Glyph and the Omen of Oblivion Relic.
This Timeloop is closed at the end of the game and must be dealt with as part of the story.
