Although Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced stays true to the original game and this remake does not feature the RPG elements found in recent entries, such as multiple pieces of gear with different defense stats and special effects, you can still equip trinkets, accessories that grant Edward various special effects and perks. This section explains how to get every trinket and what each one does.

Reduces the increase in your Wanted level caused by acts of piracy. Found inside a chest in Placer de los Roques, Dry Tortuga (465,601).
Increases the amount of animal materials obtained when skinning animals. Found inside a chest in Havana, Dry Tortuga (214,568).
This diamond trinket is as tough as nails and as hard as stone. Found inside a chest in Cape Bonavista, Dry Tortuga (151,586).
Restores some health after a perfect parry. Obtained by completing the Wayward Souls.
Increases the amount of reales you earn. Obtained during the Art Lover mission.
Increases the rewards obtained from floating loot. Found inside a chest on Sacrifice Island, in the northwestern part of Contoy (16,544).
Reduces the enemies' ability to detect you while crouching. Obtained by completing 15 Assassin Contracts (50% of the total).
Grants a chance to stagger an enemy after successfully parrying an attack. Obtained by completing The Taíno Assassin.
Increases the amount of health restored by food, drinks, and medicine. Obtained by completing Turn the Other Cheek.
Reduces the damage taken from enemy melee attacks. Obtained by completing An Exquisite Item.
Quick-firing your pistol instantly kills brutes. Obtained through the Carefully Restored Map.
Brutes can no longer resist chained takedowns. Can be purchased from any general store.
Automatically loots nearby bodies and trinkets. Can be purchased from any general store.
Takedowns can be chained to one additional enemy. Purchased from the Great Inagua Treasure Dealer.
Animals take longer to detect Edward. Obtained from the treasure revealed by the Restored Digested Map.
Reduces damage taken from British soldiers. Obtained by completing the Tithes Paid local event (616,178) in Kingston.
Obtained by completing Mayan Mysteries.
Edward no longer takes damage from falling from great heights. Obtained as part of the story.
