
Among the many side missions you can complete in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, one type is known as Naval Contracts. These missions task you with sinking enemy ships or gathering certain materials, which can be obtained by attacking ships or looting warehouses. These missions have difficulty ratings ranging from 1 to 5 stars. The more stars a contract has, the harder it will be and, generally speaking, the better the reward.
Unless otherwise stated, all these missions will become available after completing A Spanish Plague.
This mission can be started in Great Inagua, Edward's base in southeastern Gibara.
You'll need to sail to northeastern Gibara and sink several ships. Return to Milo to report back and collect your reward.
This mission can be started in the northern part of Salt Key Bank, in the southeastern corner of Dry Tortuga.
Milo's employee will ask you to collect 30 units of cloth. Sail around the waters of Dry Tortuga and sink or plunder ships carrying cloth until you've collected all 30.
This mission can be started in eastern Havana, southwest of Dry Tortuga.
This time, you'll need to sink a specific ship marked as your target. You can also earn a bonus by sinking a smaller ship with fire barrels. These can be launched by aiming behind your ship, or you can shoot the barrels dropped by enemy ships when they pass close to them.
This mission can be started northeast of Andreas Island, in the southwestern corner of Eleuthera.
This time, the company wants you to gather wood. Essentially, you'll need to find ships carrying wood and attack or plunder them.
This mission can be started in northern Nassau, southwest of Eleuthera.
This is a ship-sinking mission, with a bonus for using the mortar.
This mission can be started in the northern part of Great Inagua, in Gibara. You must have completed the first Naval Contract before its icon will appear.
Once you arrive, follow Milo along the dock so he can explain the details of the job. You'll need to sink a ship, with a bonus for doing so without using the mortar.
This mission becomes available in the same place as the previous one after completing it. Return to northern Great Inagua and speak to Milo to accept the contract. To earn the bonus reward, you must sink the escort ships before the main ship.

This mission can be started in Arroyos, in the northwestern part of Castillo de Jagua.
In this mission, you must sink several ships, with no bonus objective.
This mission can be started in Grand Cayman, in the southwestern part of Cruz.
You'll need to sink a Spanish convoy. To earn the bonus, you must destroy one of the ships with the mortar. Weaken the ship until it's ready to be boarded, then finish it off with the mortar.
This contract can be accepted north of Corozal, in the western part of Chinchorro.
You'll be asked to escort a ship. To earn the bonus, the Neptuno must have more than 50% health remaining when the mission ends.
This contract can be started at the Kingston harbor, in Navassa.
This is a ship-destruction mission.
This contract can be accepted on the eastern coast of Île à Vache, the island in central-southeastern Navassa.
This mission requires you to destroy Hunter Ships. These are the ships that appear when your Wanted level rises after sinking enemy vessels. To earn the bonus, you must sink a Hunter Ship with the mortar.
This contract becomes available in Great Inagua after completing every other Naval Contract. You can accept it near the docks.
You'll need to protect the Hollander as it sails across the sea for a while.
