Among the many collectibles you can find and complete in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced are Treasure Maps. These maps can be collected at certain locations and will lead you to specific places where you can dig up special items, including Ultimate Ship Plans and other unique rewards.
Before continuing, there are three things you should bear in mind:
This section of the guide covers the Treasure Maps obtained in one complete piece. However, there's another type of map known as a Restored Map. These require you to find Map Fragments throughout the world and then have them repaired by speaking to the Treasure Dealer.
You'll find this Treasure Map in Cape Bonavista, the area south-southwest of Dry Tortuga. It's located at coordinates 161,585.
You'll find the map near the entrance leading to the area's Mayan Stela cave. There's a body at the cave entrance, so interact with it to collect the map. Now let's find the treasure. From the viewpoint in the southwestern part of the region, jump down and head slightly southwest of the viewpoint, then look northwest from the spot shown below (148,585). You'll see the cave entrance depicted on the map.
Head to the back of the cave and you'll reach a small chamber with a pool where you can dig up some money.
You'll find this Treasure Map in southeastern Havana, south-southwest of Dry Tortuga, the northwesternmost region. Head to 217,571.
The map is found by examining a skeleton in a dried-up canal. You'll then need to head to coordinates 213,564, on the shore southwest of the canal. You should be directly below the tower at the corner of the city wall.
The digging prompt will appear on the sandy part of the shore, right beside a campfire. You'll obtain The Queen Anne's Figurehead Design Plan and money.
You'll obtain this map by completing the Havana Warehouse. The map leads to the Anotto Bay cave in Charlotte (590,245).
The map sends you to Anotto Bay (590,245, on Charlotte's southeastern coast), a cave filled with enemies.
You'll need to dive underwater to find the entrance to a submerged tunnel. Swim straight ahead and turn right at the first junction to find a path leading upwards. Continue through the tunnel until you see a ladder, then swim upwards and follow the only available path until you reach an area with enemies.
After clearing the area, you'll find the digging spot on the patch of ground in front of the crates against the northern wall. You'll obtain the Crimson Cloak outfit and some money.
This map is found on Abaco Island, in western Eleuthera, the northeasternmost region on the map. Look for it in the southwestern part of the island (581,804).
You'll need to head to the northwestern shore of Salt Lagoon (719,607), in northern Gibara.
Search at the base of the largest rock on the shore, at the spot shown below. You'll obtain the Serpent Figurehead Design Plan and some money.
You'll obtain this map from the Nassau Warehouse. The map leads to Isla Providencia, in southeastern Serranilla, the southwesternmost region on the map. Bear in mind that you won't be able to reach this location until you progress through the story, as its docking point isn't initially available. You'll have to wait until Sequence 8 before you can travel there:
Once there, head to 487,11. Search beside the remains of the boat at those coordinates, near the palm trees, to find the digging spot.
You'll obtain some money and the Governor's Outfit.
This map is found in the southwestern part of Andreas Island, the island in the southwestern corner of Eleuthera, the northeasternmost region on the world map (543,693).
The body holding the map is in plain sight on the shore. The map sends you to the northeastern shore of Abaco Island (586,811), in western Eleuthera.
When you arrive, look for the spot between the palm trees shown below, near the stern of the shipwreck on the shore.
You'll obtain the Earth Monster Relief and some money.
You'll find this Treasure Map on the northeastern shore of Salt Lagoon, in north-central Gibara, at coordinates 723,608.
The skeleton holding the map is in plain sight on the shore. To find the treasure, head to 407,94, on the northern coast of New Bone, southeast of Serranilla, the southwesternmost region on the map.
On the same small island as the rowboat that takes you back to your ship, search in front of the palm trees to dig up the Maize Deity and some money.
You'll find this Treasure Map in the southwestern part of Mariguana Island, in eastern Gibara (847,514).
There's a small tunnel connecting the clearing to the island's shore. Inside it is another small side tunnel leading to a chamber containing a chest and the skeleton with the map. To find the treasure, head to the southern part of Andreas Island, in western-southwestern Eleuthera.
The digging spot is beside the palm trees on the small island opposite the rowboat that takes you back to your ship, on the southern coast. You'll obtain the Harpoon Strength Ultimate Plan.
You'll find this map on the northwestern coast of Great Inagua, Edward's base in southeastern Gibara (813,448).
Approach the map icon from the east to find some climbable trees leading to a sloping cave. You'll find the map at the bottom of the slope. To locate the treasure, head to western-southwestern Nassau in Eleuthera and go to 586,755. You're looking for the spot shown below, beneath the large rock behind the manor.
You'll obtain some money and the Elite Sails Design Plan.
You'll find this map in the northern part of Pinos Isle, in the central Castillo de Jagua region (307,456).
To find the treasure, head to Cayman Sound, close to Opía Apito's location (304,310).
Once there, look for a small clearing between the rocks and palm trees to find the digging spot.
You'll obtain some money.
This map is found on the northwestern coast of Cayman Sound, in southern-southeastern Castillo de Jagua (298,311).
The map leads to Petite Caverne, southeast of Punta Guarico (864,237).
Follow the route to the very end, where you'll find a dock with several small boats. From the dock, walk up the wooden ramp and stick to the right-hand side of the area until you see the spot shown below, behind the rocks beside the waterfall.
You'll obtain the Heavy Shot Storage Ultimate Plan.
This Treasure Map is on the southeastern shore of Cumberland Bay, in northwestern Punta Guarico (648,345).
This map leads to Pinos Isle in Castillo de Jagua.
Head to the main ruins area, where the stairs face the square filled with columns, and search the grassy area at the back on the right-hand side, beside a side entrance.
You'll obtain some money and the Ivory Wheel Design Plan.
This Treasure Map is on the northeastern shore of Tortuga, the island in northeastern Punta Guarico (851,352).
The map leads to Matanzas in Dry Tortuga.
The treasure is in the southeastern corner of the region, behind the waterfall in the area containing one of the Mayan Stelae. It's impossible to miss. You'll obtain the Mortar Storage Ultimate Plan and some money.
You'll find this map in the northwestern corner of Petite Caverne, the cave in southeastern Punta Guarico (862,237).
Head to southeastern Tulum, in the westernmost part of the map.
Head directly south of the viewpoint and search on the southern side of the watchtower, where you'll find a small patch of ground you can dig up.
You'll obtain the Fire Barrel Storage Ultimate Plan and some money.
This Treasure Map is found in eastern Santanillas, the island along the southeastern edge of Chinchorro.
To reach the skeleton holding the map, head south of the rock formation it's sitting on and climb the tree. From there, you can jump north to reach the map.
The map directs you to San Juan, the cave north of Cruz.
Enter the cave through its underwater entrance. After taking out the first enemy but before reaching the second, look immediately to the right of the wooden ramp leading upwards to find the digging spot. You'll obtain the Fire Barrel Strength Ultimate Plan and some money.
This Treasure Map is inside the Ambergris Key cave, in southwestern Chinchorro (28,160).
The map is in a tunnel above the chest's location in the enemy camp and leads to the Misteriosa ruins in central Serranilla (271,178).
Climb to the top of the ruins to find a snake-head-shaped rock with water flowing out of it. The digging spot is to the left of the tree in front of the snake's head.
You'll obtain the Heavy Shot Strength Ultimate Plan and some money.
This map is on the northeastern coast of Corozal, in the southwestern corner of Chinchorro (11,242).
You'll now need to head to Ambergris Key, the cave in the southwestern corner of Chinchorro. Make your way through the underwater cave and turn left as soon as you emerge from the water, after climbing the first set of steps. You'll enter another small cave containing several skeletons. The digging spot is inside. You'll obtain the Pirate Captain Outfit.
This map is in the northeastern part of Misteriosa, the island in central Serranilla (272,175).
You'll find the skeleton inside a chamber built into the front of the ruins. You can drop down from the viewpoint without much trouble. The map leads to southeastern Kingston, in Navassa (631,152).
You'll see a door set into the rock. Directly in front of it are some barrels beside a palm tree, and the digging spot is just ahead of them. You'll obtain the Gilded Hull Design Plan.
You'll obtain this map from the Southwestern Kingston Warehouse. The map leads to Cumberland Bay at 645,355. Search in front of the rowboat on the same stretch of shoreline.
You'll obtain some money.
This map is found in southeastern Port Royal, the town in western Navassa, directly south of Kingston (605,132).
The buried treasure is in Principe. Principe is a separate region located outside the Caribbean map. You'll reach it during Sequence 9. After completing it, you can return by selecting the "P" along the eastern edge of the world map.
Once there, head to 113,11 on the Principe map.
The digging spot is at the base of the palm tree leaning over the shore. You'll obtain some money and the Standard Bearer.
This map is on the northeastern coast of Île à Vache, the island in central-southeastern Navassa (812,113).
The map leads to Jiguey, on the southwestern coast of Gibara.
Enter the cave and swim to the island in the middle, where several enemies are waiting. As soon as you reach the shore, look to the right of the overturned rowboat to find the digging spot.
You'll obtain a Baroque Guitar.
You'll obtain this map in the southeastern part of Isla Providencia (483,19). You won't be able to reach this area until the end of Sequence 8 in the story.
Approach the map from the north, heading south from the beach. You'll then have to wait until you've reached the end of Sequence 10 before you can travel to Long Bay. Once you've met this requirement, head to 503,230 and look in front of the hut opposite the viewpoint on the northeastern beach to find the digging spot.
You'll obtain the Scottish Broadswords.
You'll obtain this map and its treasure as part of the Blackbeard's Treasure quest.
This map is obtained by displaying every Portrait. Once you have it, head to 820,430, on the southwestern shore of Great Inagua.
The digging spot is on the shore beside the leaning palm tree.
You'll obtain the The Fortune swords.
