Among the many options available for your ship in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is the ability to customize its appearance. You can choose from several different skins that don't affect the Jackdaw's performance, but change its hull, wheel, sails, figurehead and more—including replacing your regular crew with skeletons. Yes, you can have your very own band of cheerful skeleton sailors, fresh from the depths of the abyss, running the ship. Here's what you need to do to unlock this special appearance.
The first thing you need to do to unlock the skeleton crew is find the secret merchant. Head to the island south of Andreas Island and northeast of Salt Key Bank. You're looking for an unnamed island in Gibara (551,637).
Approach the island and you'll see a grotto running all the way through it, with a plume of smoke rising from inside.
On one side, you'll find a beach with a weapons merchant who sells the Deceased Crew Outfit, among other items. Once you've bought it, simply equip it like any other outfit from the Crew slot in the Ship Appearance menu.
The Deceased Crew Outfit costs 206 Bones. There are two ways to obtain them:
Buying them from the treasure dealer is obviously the fastest method, but it's also by far the most expensive. Whether you take your time or burn through your money is entirely up to you.
