Activision ha desvelado la lista de canciones para su juego musical Band Hero, orientado a un público más ocasional y familiar que la saga Guitar Hero.
La versión para consola doméstica contará con 65 canciones, mientras que la versión para Nintendo DS aportará 30 canciones (puesto que necesita el slot 2 de cartuchos de GBA para conectar el periférico que le acompaña, es incompatible ocn Nintendo DSi).
Además, quienes tengan en consola Guitar Hero 5 y adquieran Band Hero podrán incorporar 69 canciones a la lista de temas del primero a Band Hero, pagando una tasa (480 puntos en Xbox 360, 600 puntos en Wii, 5,99 dólares en PS3; en este caso no se ha dado el precio en euros). Si lo prefieren, pueden pasar 61 canciones de Band Hero a Guitar Hero 5 (en este caso, 420 puntos en Xbox 360, 500 puntos en Wii, 4,99 dólares en PS3).
Igualmente, Band Hero parte con 152 canciones descargables, como Guitar Hero 5, es decir, todas las aparecidas hasta el momento, salvo las de Jimi Hendrix, exclusivas de World Tour.
