Unlike the first game, Hades 2 features a huge number of materials and resources that can be used for different purposes. In this sequel, the items known as Reagents are some of the most important resources in the game, as they allow you to perform Incantations, upgrade your weapons, unlock Arcana Cards and much more.

Bones

Bones are used as currency in exchange for more valuable resources.

• Can be earned by using a weapon affected by Grave Thirst.

Ashes

Ashes are mainly used to unlock Arcana Cards.

Psyche

Psyche is mainly used to increase your Grasp, allowing you to activate more Arcana Cards.

Fate Fabric

Fate Fabric is mainly used in Incantations involving chance and fortune.

• Occasionally offered by Arachne in special chambers in Erebus.

Gemstones

Gemstones are mainly exchanged for Prestige at the Wretched Broker.

Silver is mainly used to unlock Nocturnal Arms.

• An uncommon resource found in the darkness of night when Fear hangs heavy in the air.
• Obtained by completing Testaments at the Oath of the Unseen.
• Can be obtained from the Wretched Broker while supplies last!

Rubbish

Rubbish is mainly used to befoul the environment.

These are the main ways to obtain Rubbish:

• Obtained by cleaning up the mess left behind by Eris at the Crossroads. Eris will begin appearing at the Crossroads once you have progressed far enough through the story.

Gigaros

Gigaros, the imposing double-ended spear once wielded by Hades himself, is mainly used to defeat Typhon and Chronos once and for all, allowing you to unlock the game's true ending.

• Obtained only through means that once seemed impossible.
• You must defeat Chronos at least 6 times before you can speak with Zagreus. Once you have done so, he will leave the spear beside the bed in his chambers the next time you reach this room.

Entropy
