Prometheus, Titan of Foresight in Hades 2 is one of the main bosses you will encounter while traveling across the surface, once you have gained access to this part of the game (check out our related guide for more details) and reach his chamber on Mount Olympus.

Prometheus is a brutal and highly aggressive boss with fast attacks that cover large areas in lingering flames. He can also send his eagle to attack you or summon enemies that make the battle even more complicated. On top of that, he has a considerable amount of health, so this will undoubtedly be one of your most demanding fights.

Overall, Prometheus is a boss who will not make things easy for you. However, your journey across the surface offers plenty of opportunities to acquire Boons and other upgrades before reaching him. If you arrive strong enough and have a few Death Defiances available, you should be able to defeat him.
Unfortunately, the arena where you fight Prometheus does not offer any cover you can use to your advantage, and space is limited, especially once the boss starts covering the ground in flames. You will need to carefully plan your movements throughout the battle. If things get difficult, remember that it is better to take a hit from Prometheus than to touch the flames and catch fire, as they deal a tremendous amount of damage in very little time.
Bear in mind that Prometheus is a very physical boss, so staying close to him for too long is rarely a good idea. Ranged attacks and a sizeable health pool are key to winning this battle. It is also important to watch out for the enemies that appear during the fight, as they can become extremely troublesome if too many of them accumulate.
All things considered, Prometheus does not have many truly terrifying attacks, with the possible exception of the aforementioned move where he leaves the arena and red bars begin appearing across the ground in a particular order. It is extremely important to pay close attention to these bars. When he begins unleashing waves of fire, you will need to dodge every one of them correctly. Making a mistake here could mean taking a huge amount of damage, and this attack can easily kill you if you are not paying attention.
Aside from that, you should be able to defeat this boss by learning the rest of his attack patterns, carefully watching how he telegraphs each move and avoiding his eagle whenever it appears.
