Throughout your adventure in Hades 2, you will meet many characters and be able to build relationships with them. If you offer them Gifts, they may reward you with Keepsakes, special items that grant passive bonuses when equipped during each attempt to complete your mission in the Underworld or on the surface. In this section of our guide, we will show you every Keepsake available in Hades 2, their effects and which characters give them to you. Pay attention!
How to get Keepsakes
The method for obtaining Keepsakes in Hades 2 is similar to the one used in the first game. You must give each character at least one Nectar:
To obtain a character's Keepsake, you must give them Nectar, a traditional Gift of Olympus.
Nectar can be obtained, for example, as an uncommon reward during Encounters in Erebus and beyond, or purchased from the Wretched Broker as part of their Exotic Wares at the Crossroads. This shop can be unlocked using a Cauldron Incantation.
Once you have some Nectar, approach and interact with another character to give it to them. Check whether the "Gift" button appears at the bottom of the screen.
The first time you do this with each character, you will receive their Keepsake. Further Gifts will improve your relationship with them.
Every Keepsake you unlock will become available in the display case next to the Silver Pool and training grounds at the Crossroads.
Keepsakes always begin at the first star rank, but can be upgraded by equipping them and completing a certain number of Encounters.
You can only equip one Keepsake at a time.
Bear in mind that you can offer Gifts to almost every character you meet during your adventure. However, some will not accept a Gift the first time you encounter them. For example, Echo in the Fields of Mourning will not accept one the first time you speak to her. However, after encountering the character several times, you will eventually be given the opportunity to offer her a Gift.
The same applies to other characters such as Chaos, Icarus and Heracles. This means you will need to complete quite a few runs through the Underworld and the surface to meet everyone and speak to them enough times for the game to let you offer them Nectar. We recommend always carrying at least one Nectar whenever possible. That way, if you meet a character whose Keepsake you have not yet obtained, you will not miss the opportunity to unlock it.

Silver Wheel
Which character gives it to you?: Hecate, Witch of the Crossroads (appears at the Crossroads)
Effect: after using Magick, restore it over 3 Sec., up to a total of 1000 Magick this night
Knuckle Bones
Which character gives it to you?: Odysseus, Veteran Tactician (appears at the Crossroads)
Effect: the next Guardian loses 5% Life. You take 15% less damage from Guardians
Luckier Tooth
Which character gives it to you?: Schelemeus, Training Master (appears at the Crossroads)
Effect: after you fall to 0 Life, automatically restore 51 Life once this night
Ghost Onion
Which character gives it to you?: Dora, Listless Shade (appears at the Crossroads)
Effect: whenever you exit a Location, fully restore your Life, up to a total of 50 Life this night
Evil Eye
Which character gives it to you?: Nemesis, Retribution Incarnate (appears at the Crossroads)
Effect: deal +20% damage to the last foe that vanquished you
Engraved Pin
Which character gives it to you?: Moros, Doom Incarnate (appears at the Crossroads after performing the "Fated Intervention" and "Doomed Beckoning" Incantations)
Effect: after you fall to 0 Life, become Impervious for 10 Sec. If no foes remain, restore 30 Life
Discordant Bell
Which character gives it to you?: Eris, Strife Incarnate (begins appearing randomly at the Crossroads as you progress through the story)
Effect: after each Encounter, deal and take +0.5% damage
Gold Purse
Which character gives it to you?: Charon, Stygian Boatman (appears in Locations containing a shop)
Effect: gain +100 Gold to spend this night
Metallic Droplet
Which character gives it to you?: Hermes, God of Swiftness (appears randomly in Locations)
Effect: move, strike and Channel 20% faster for the next 200 Sec.
White Antler
Which character gives it to you?: Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt (appears randomly in Locations)
Effect: while you have no more than 30 Life, gain +20% chance to deal Critical damage
Moon Beam
Which character gives it to you?: Selene, Moon Incarnate (appears randomly in Locations)
Effect: gain +1 upgrade for your Hex from the next Path of Stars you find
Cloud Bangle

Fig Leaf

Effect: most Encounters have a 50% chance to contain no foes, up to 1 time this night
Lion Fang

Effect: deal +30% damage, but this bonus is reduced by 5% whenever you exit an Encounter
Blackened Fleece
Which character gives it to you?: Medea, Witch of the Shadows (appears randomly inside a special chamber in the City of Ephyra)

Silken Sash
Which character gives it to you?: Arachne, Weaver of Silks (appears randomly inside a special chamber in Erebus)
Effect: gain +20 Armor. While you have at least 1 Armor, gain +2 Armor whenever you exit a Location
Aromatic Phial
Which character gives it to you?: Narcissus, Beauteous Flower (appears randomly inside a special chamber in Oceanus)
Effect: Fountains restore +20% Life. The next one you use turns 1 random Common Boon Rare
Concave Stone
Which character gives it to you?: Echo (appears randomly inside a special chamber in the Fields of Mourning)
Effect: after choosing a Boon, you have a 25% chance to gain 1 additional random Boon this night
Experimental Hammer
Which character gives it to you?: Icarus, Free Spirit (appears randomly in the Rift of Thessaly)
Effect: gain a random Daedalus Hammer upgrade that lasts for 10 Encounters
Jeweled Pom
Which character gives it to you?: Hades and Persephone (appear randomly inside a special chamber in Tartarus, but only after you have unlocked the game's true ending, meaning after you have seen the credits)
Effect: while at the Fates' Whim, gain a random Hades Boon and +1 Lv. for most Boons offered this night
Calling Card
Which character gives it to you?: Zagreus, Prince of the Underworld (gives it to you after you defeat him in combat at least twice in Elysium, a chamber that can only be reached by signing an Infernal Contract that may randomly appear in any of Charon's shops after you have unlocked the game's true ending, meaning after you have seen the credits)
Effect: while at the Fates' Whim, you can magnify up to 2 Olympian Boons this night
Time Piece
Which character gives it to you?: Chronos, Titan of Time (appears randomly in the chamber connecting Erebus to Oceanus after you have unlocked the game's true ending, meaning after you have seen the credits)
Effect: while at the Fates' Whim, you can purge most rewards in exchange for Gold Crowns this night, up to 2 times
Transcendent Embryo
Which character gives it to you?: Chaos, Primordial Origin (only appears in special chambers found in randomly generated depths throughout the Underworld, which you must sacrifice Life to enter)
