One of the new features introduced in Hades 2 is Grasp, a special attribute belonging to Melinoë that determines how many Arcana Cards you can have active at any given time. These celestial cards provide additional passive benefits during your runs.
Each Arcana Card has a specific Grasp cost, but you will probably soon start wondering how to increase your Grasp limit, as you do not have many points available at first and will quickly want more. This section of our guide answers that question and explains everything you need to know.
After starting a new game in Hades 2, your Grasp will initially be limited to a maximum of 10 points. However, you can increase your Arcana Grasp by spending the resource known as Psyche.

In case you are wondering, Psyche is a fairly common Reagent in the game that looks like a green droplet. You can obtain Psyche by clearing certain Encounters in Erebus and beyond that offer it as a reward, or by purchasing it from the Wretched Broker after unlocking his shop.
Another excellent way to earn more Psyche is to unlock the Tablet of Peace tool. This allows you to compel and invite certain Lone Shades found throughout Erebus and beyond to the Crossroads. These are the small, translucent green spirits you may occasionally encounter. Each time you do this, you will receive a generous amount of Psyche.
