If you have only just started playing, you may not yet know all the ways to obtain Victory Points or how to save up this useful and important resource more quickly. Do not worry: in this section of our guide, we will show you how to earn VP easily so you can start racking them up in no time.
The main way to earn Victory Points in Pokémon Champions is simply to take part in Ranked Battles. The amount of VP you receive will depend on your results.
For example, winning a battle always awards more points than losing one. You receive 300 VP for a victory, but you will also earn VP when you lose, so there is always a reward. You simply need to finish the battle without quitting midway through it.
One detail that can easily be overlooked is that you can earn even more VP from each victory by building and maintaining a consecutive win streak. The amount of VP awarded will gradually increase with each successive victory.
Do not forget that the rank you reach also affects the final reward you receive when the current season ends and the next one begins. The higher your rank, the more VP you will receive, with several thousand VP available as a reward for your efforts. Do not give up before the season ends!
Besides battling, the other main way to earn Victory Points in Pokémon Champions is to focus on completing daily and weekly missions. You can check them under "Missions" in the main menu.
Every day, you can complete three randomly selected daily missions to claim a reward of 500 VP. These missions involve simple objectives such as logging in, taking part in a battle, or recruiting a trial or permanent Pokémon, so you can earn these points in just a few minutes.
Weekly missions, meanwhile, change every seven days and have slightly more demanding requirements, but they also award more VP. For example, logging in on five different days can earn you up to 2,000 VP. If you complete all these missions before they expire, you can earn a total of 9,000 VP from them.
Some of these weekly missions can also be replaced, with up to five replacements available each week. If you do not like a mission or find it too difficult, you can swap it out and see whether the new one is easier and quicker to complete.
Another worthwhile way to earn Victory Points is by completing Achievements. Pokémon Champions features hundreds of different Achievements that can be completed at any time by meeting specific objectives. They cover a wide range of tasks and never expire, such as taking part in a certain number of battles, using moves of a particular type, or winning with a specific Pokémon.
These Achievements are divided into ranks or star levels. Each level increases the target you must reach, but also raises the reward for hitting that milestone. You can earn as little as 500 VP from the earliest ranks or levels, with later ones awarding 1,000 VP, 2,500 VP, 5,000 VP, or even 10,000 VP for the most exceptional Achievements.
You can check the list of Achievements from the main menu by opening the "Submenu" and then entering the "Achievements" section. If you manage to complete every Achievement that awards VP—an incredibly demanding task—you will earn no less than 403,600 Victory Points for your account.
The Pokémon Champions Battle Pass, which changes every season, is another good source of Victory Points. The final levels of the pass include VP rewards that can be claimed for free, without purchasing the Premium Pass.
You can earn up to 10,000 VP by completing Battle Pass levels 31 through 50. Since you gain Battle Pass levels by completing battles, you can combine this method with the first one described above and work toward both rewards at once.
Finally, we should mention one fairly obvious source of VP. Like many free-to-play games, Pokémon Champions features introductory missions and gameplay tutorials that you can complete to receive several one-time rewards, including VP.
Although these rewards can only be claimed once, it is worth taking the time to complete them during your first few hours with the game. You can earn up to 10,000 VP by clearing several introductory missions, all of which are very easy, as well as another 10,000 VP for completing the Double Battles tutorial at Cordy's Training Center, which only takes a few minutes.
To make this absolutely clear: no, Pokémon Champions does not allow you to purchase Victory Points directly or obtain them in exchange for real money. In other words, there are no microtransactions that let you buy set amounts of this currency. Victory Points can only be earned within the game through the free methods explained above, so keep that in mind.
