Although the main focus of Pokémon Champions is its available Pokémon and battles, players can also personalize the experience through the "Style" menu by changing the clothing and appearance of their avatar—the Pokémon Trainer who represents them during battles. If you have only just started playing, this section of our guide may be useful, as we explain how to obtain more clothes and accessories beyond those available by default.
The main way to obtain new clothes and accessories for free and customize your character's appearance in Pokémon Champions is to purchase these items from the Front Shop using Victory Points.
There are several ways to earn VP for free, as this currency cannot be purchased through microtransactions and must instead be obtained through various in-game activities, such as completing missions, unlocking Achievements, or taking part in battles. The shop also includes other useful sections dedicated to your character's hair and face—allowing you to change features such as their eyes and mouth—as well as pre-battle poses, Poké Ball throwing styles used during battles, and victory poses.
In principle, there are no other ways to obtain free clothes and accessories for your character in Pokémon Champions. However, we also recommend keeping an eye on Mystery Gift codes that may be released over time—we update our guide whenever a new one becomes available. Some of these gifts may include cosmetic unlocks of this kind, as has happened in other games in the series, so do not miss out!
Besides the clothes and accessories available from the shop using the game's free currency, you can also unlock exclusive cosmetics for your character through rewards from the Pokémon Champions Premium Battle Pass.
The Premium Battle Pass can be purchased from the in-game shop for €9.99. Each season includes various rewards that you can claim as you earn Battle Pass Points and gain levels. These rewards always include a small selection of exclusive clothing for your avatar.
If you want to expand your wardrobe, purchasing the Premium Pass can give you access to additional clothes and accessories, so keep this option in mind.
