Among the many items you will come across while playing Palworld, one may catch your attention in particular: Pal Eggs. These are not ordinary eggs that you can eat to satisfy your hunger. As you might expect, they can be incubated to hatch a new and potentially powerful Pal that you can later add to your party or put to work at your base. You can find these Eggs in the wild, but you can also pair two Pals at a Breeding Farm to produce special Eggs, as explained in another section of our guide.
Below, we will explain the different types of Pal Eggs available in the game, which creatures can hatch from them, and what steps you must follow to successfully incubate Eggs at your base.
There are several types of Pal Eggs in Palworld. They can vary in size, with regular, Large, and Huge varieties, as well as in the colors and patterns of their shells. For example, you can find red, black, blue, and many other types of Eggs.
There are 9 Egg types, one for each main Pal element or type. Their names and appearances are as follows:

These Eggs can be obtained through breeding at a Breeding Farm by pairing a male and female Pal. They can also be found scattered across the ground in the wild. Check this interactive map to see their locations. Naturally, some Eggs are more commonly found in certain types of biomes. Scorching Eggs, for example, appear more frequently in the hot volcanic area to the southwest of the map, while Frozen Eggs can be found in the cold, snowy regions to the north.
You can never know exactly which Pal will hatch from an Egg unless you obtained it through breeding at a Breeding Farm. However, if you find a Pal Egg in the wild and want to know which random Pal might hatch from it, the lists below show every Pal that has a chance of hatching from each Egg group based on its color and size.

To incubate Pal Eggs in Palworld, whether you find them while exploring the world or obtain them through breeding at your base's Breeding Farm, you will need a special facility designed for this purpose: an Egg Incubator.
The Egg Incubator is a structure whose recipe can be unlocked once you reach level 7 in the Technology menu, using Technology Points to purchase its blueprint. Once it becomes available, you will need the following resources to build one at your base:
After building the Egg Incubator, you can interact with its menu and select the Pal Egg you want to incubate. Keep in mind that each Incubator can only hold one Egg at a time. A countdown timer will always be displayed so you know how long remains before the Egg hatches and the Pal is born.
Palworld offers several ways to speed up Egg incubation so that your Eggs hatch much faster. The main method involves making the temperature around the Egg Incubator as comfortable as possible for the type of Pal Egg you are incubating.
After placing an Egg inside the Incubator, pay attention to the details shown underneath the countdown timer.
As long as the text beside the countdown timer says "Seems very comfortable", you have nothing to worry about. The Egg will be incubating as quickly as possible.
In addition to the above, if you are the administrator of a game, you can also change the Egg incubation speed setting by customizing the world's difficulty. If you wish, set the "Time (h) to incubate Massive Egg. Note: Other eggs also require time to incubate." option to 0 for the fastest possible incubation speed. If you do not adjust this option, incubation will be slower on higher difficulties and faster on lower ones.
