Palworld: All New Pals in Version 1.0, Locations, and Details

The version 1.0 update for Palworld, released on July 10, 2026 across all platforms, brought a huge number of new features to Pocketpair's popular game as it finally left Early Access. Naturally, this major patch also added new Pals to expand the Paldeck. A total of 73 brand-new Pals were introduced, although 15 of them are subspecies of creatures we already knew.

Location of Panthalus

The method for finding and capturing Panthalus differs from that of most Pals and is tied to a quest. First, you must collect 4 fragments hidden inside certain bone formations in different areas of the map. You can collect them in any order, and you will recognize them by their golden glow. Their locations are marked on the following map:

After obtaining these fragments, visit the Ancient Civilization Researcher beside the Deserted Islet fast travel point, marked in yellow on the map. Speak to the researcher to receive a Faded Schematic containing the instructions for crafting the Echoing Flute with the 4 fragments.

Head to any of your bases and craft the flute at a Workbench. Once you have it, speak to the researcher again, then interact with the large glowing stone beside them to trigger the boss battle against Panthalus. Bear in mind that Panthalus is level 70. Weaken it as much as possible during the fight to secure a guaranteed capture.

Astralym
