Among all the Pals you can encounter in Palworld, some undoubtedly stand out from the rest. We are not talking about Lucky Pals or Pal mounts, but rather the challenging and powerful Alpha Pal bosses. These special versions of regular Pals offer demanding battles, so it is worth knowing where to find them in order to capture them and add them to your collection. Want to know everything about Alpha Pals? Below, we cover all the details in this section of our guide.

All Alpha Pal boss locations

Alpha Pal bosses have fixed locations on Palworld's world map. In fact, when you get close to one, its location will be marked on your map so you can find it again later. You will recognize it because the Pal has its own icon, as shown in this example:

In total, there are more than 40 Alpha Pal bosses to find and either defeat or capture throughout Palworld. Many can be found out in the open on the surface, while others are hidden inside dungeons and caves. If you reach a boss's location and cannot see it nearby, it is probably inside a cave or mineshaft in the area.

To help you find every Alpha Pal boss in the game, the following world map shows the location of each creature:

How are Alpha Pals different?

Palworld - How Alpha Pal bosses are different

Alpha Pals in Palworld are more powerful versions of regular Pals, meaning they have unique characteristics such as the following:

  • Alpha Pals are larger during battles, although they return to a normal size once captured.
  • Alpha Pals have fixed locations on the map and will eventually respawn after being defeated.
  • Alpha Pals have a special mark or icon next to their names.
  • Defeating Alpha bosses rewards you with Ancient Technology Points.

As far as we know, the skills and stats of Alpha Pals do not initially differ from those of regular wild Pals. However, as mentioned above, they are an excellent way to guarantee an encounter with certain Pals because they have fixed locations around the world.

According to player reports, Alpha Pals can respawn at their locations after 1 hour of real time, while some only reappear at specific times of day. This information has not been completely confirmed, but you can use it as a general reference.
