Sacred Covenant is the fourth mission in the Prologue of The Blood of Dawnwalker's story. It begins automatically at the end of Like Father, Like Son, either if you choose to pass the remaining time automatically or if you use it up completing some of the available — and missable — side quests. As usual, throughout this walkthrough we'll avoid as many spoilers as possible while giving you all the tips and directions you need to make sure you don't miss anything along the way. For this playthrough in particular, we'll also be following the optimal route to see as many endings as possible in a single playthrough, saving you the trouble of starting over unnecessarily.
If you completed Blasphemy, you'll understand what's hanging above the altar. Depending on the choices you made during that quest, it may be the banner... or something very different.
For now, you can talk to the other villagers before following the objective marker. By the way, if you started any side quests and left them unfinished, you'll see that some are now marked as failed — don't worry. As we explained during the previous mission, it's simply impossible to complete every Prologue side quest in a single run.
When you're ready to continue, sit in the pew next to Pieter and Esme. During the following sequence, you can choose whichever responses you like when speaking to Pieter while Florin delivers his sermon.
At this point in the mission, depending on the choice you made during Withering Away, someone may live or die. The outcome depends on whether you prepared Anca's medicine correctly.
