Among the many points of interest you can find across the map of The Blood of Dawnwalker, Swordmastery Teacher locations are among the most important. These characters sell Manuals for advanced Swordmastery skills. They aren't cheap, and in some cases you'll need to complete specific quests or activities before you can train with them, but they're well worth seeking out.
Keep in mind that their inventories aren't completely fixed and can vary as the days pass, especially when it comes to amulets and other equipment. Some Manuals may also not appear in their stock depending on your progression and which skill upgrades you've already unlocked.
Ursul will almost certainly be the first Swordmastery Teacher you meet if you progress through the game normally. To unlock him as a teacher, you'll need to complete Ambrus's Prisoners: Lucky Crossing, one of Ambrus's Court activities. Ursul is one of the prisoners, and after rescuing him he'll give you a small follow-up objective leading to his camp. You'll find him northeast of the Svartrau Outskirts, where he'll remain permanently.
Once you arrive, you'll need to defeat him in a duel before he'll agree to sell you Manuals and accessories. Some of his stock can rotate depending on the day.
To unlock this teacher, you'll first need to complete Bakir's Pillories: Old Hand and make sure the old knight survives. Choose the option that prevents the crowd from hurting him to unlock the follow-up activity Bakir's Pillories: Catalin's Tutor. This gives you a marker leading to the Swordmastery Teacher's camp in The Silts, northwest of Lunar Manor and near Oghasti.
After defeating him in a duel, you should be able to buy Manuals including:
This teacher becomes available when you clear the enemy camp in the southwestern part of Rockfalls. After defeating Constantin, choose to spare his life and accept his offer to teach you. He'll remain at the same location as a Swordmastery Teacher.
You should be able to buy Manuals including:
Ocha becomes available as a Swordmastery Teacher after completing The Heart Wants What It Wants, provided you don't personally kill Andrei. If you follow our walkthrough, you can complete the quest with minimal time expenditure and keep Ocha available as a teacher.
Depending on how the quest ends, Ocha's final location can vary. In the route described here, you'll find her at Ocha's Hideout, north of Svartrau City. Other outcomes can cause her to move elsewhere or prevent you from using her as a Swordmastery Teacher.
You should be able to buy Manuals including:
Drogos can be found at the Manumit Hideout in Svartrau City. You'll gain access to the hideout while progressing through Where Loyalty Lies and the Manumit questline.
He can sell a particularly large selection of Swordmastery Manuals, including at least the following:
