PD: tampoco he contado si son 100 exactamente :-$

- There is no standard radar like in MGS and MGS2.

- The right analog stick moves the camera around and closer/further from Snake a la Subsistence.

- The classic Item/Weapon HUD is back. It is now orange.

- Real time shadowing, a first for MGS.

- The Solid Eye has multiple vision settings, including NORMAL, ENVG (heat/nightvision?) and SCOPE (binoculars).

- Item Info shows up as you select your items/weapons in the middle of the screen in classic fashion.

- SCOPE view shows off some nice depth of field and motion blur effects.

- ENVG view is deep blue with a light gray denoting enemy location.

- Survival viewer is marked ‘Chibrowser Ver 5.06′ on the left and ‘Manufactured by Hal Emmerich’ on the right.

- Survival Viewer Options include CODEC, WEAPONS, ITEMS, CAMOFLAUGE, and OPTIONS.

- Survival Viewer data includes Weather - FINE, as well as windspeed, temp/humd, a compass and CHANGE VIEW with Square
button prompt.

- Camoflauge options include Face - NONE,FACECAM, as well as Octocam - OCTCAM SUIT, FIXED PATTERN, SAVE CAMO PATTERN,
COSTUME CHANGE.

- Orange prompts now appear at the bottom of the screen when an action can be preformed during gameplay.

- PMC soldiers no longer glide, they have weight and momentum to their movements.(It’s a big deal to me!!!)

- You can Sneak in a lowered/crouching postion.

- The tranquilizer (MK2 pistol) returns.

- Pressing against a wall no longer puts your back against it. You now (automatically?) copy textures for your Octocam.

- You can slide against the wall while holding Triangle, with your body towards it/palms on it now, and peak out from a

corner as in past MGS games.

- A white ring can surround Snake while crouching or lying down. The line is wavering with humps denoting directions of

surrounding sounds??? Watch as the guard walks past for instance.

- The ring has an N on it… north?

- When locked on a foe… LOCKED ON appears at the top.

- CQC causes soldiers to drop their weapon. The classic item sound is heard.

- CQC’ed soldiers can be dragged, and rolled upon, and choked whilst on the floor.

- The classic MGS “stars” appear over knocked out foes.

- You can pick up enemy weapons.

- Lying on the ground, you can roll to the side now.

- AUTO AIM is now denoted with a prompt at the top of the screen, you can lock on without a gun drawn necessarily.

- You can “worm” across the floor instead of crawling.

- When locked on to a foe, you can circle strafe around him as well as move forward and back.

- You can now pat down a foe for items.

- CROTCH GRAB. Knock out.

- Items no longer float and rotate, but rest on the ground.

- Rations have returned.

- There is a new over the shoulder aiming view with target reticle.

- You can peak out from the sides of boxes still.

- Sleeping guards still have ZZZZZZ over their head. They still snore.

- The tranq sniper rifle (Mosin Nagant) returns.

- You can switch over the shoulder cam to left or right shoulder on the fly.

- The knife has a stun mode. It looks to have a small recharge time on the HUD.

- Snake can flip over the side of edges if he is lying on the ground near the edge.

- Drum Can is a new item.

- Weapons are NO USE when in can mode.

- You can roll attack!

- Snake gets sick.

- Girly Magazines (Book) return. You can look at them in First Person, and they have multiple HD pages.

- The AK (AK 102) returns.

- You can free aim in over the shoulder view while walking.

- You can move at different speeds in FPS and over the shoulder view.

- The faster you move in shoulder mode, the wider/less accurate your reticle for aiming becomes, going from a circle to 4

dots to 4 wider dots the faster you move.

- FPS looking can be controlled by the Sixaxis.

- You can only use the gun’s sights in FPS mode, there is no targetin reticle.

- Trash can be seen blowing through the streets.

- First person view brings back that cool motion blur.

- Snake can jump/dive to his side.

- YOu can hide in dumpsters, and peak out to fire in first person.

- Shaking the controller removes your current camo texture.

- Snake knocks over a vase. Clumsy in his old age!

- Cinemas are realtime as in past MGS games.

- MG Mark II returns in an area similar to the original MGS4 trailer.

- MG MK II is model number OTC-0084653 - Manufactured by Hal Emmerich

- Snake is 182cm tall and weighs 63.5kg.

- Automobiles are destructable.

- There are unmanned flying mechanical creatures helping the PMC.

- Explosions leave no craters in the ground.

- Smoke/Particle effects are dynamic. Watch as the building crumbles and shoots debris through the street.

- Background destruction looks to be set-piece based, and not dynamic. (IE, you cant do it unless the story says you can.)

- Nearby explosions cause yet more motion blur!

- MG Mark II is an item. You control him with a Sixaxis controller ingame. He has both first and third person views.

- MG is for recon, thus only has a weak stun shock.

- MG Mark II has a battery/power bar. This may limit his use time/distance traveled.

- You can make MG Mark II spin out of control.

- MG Mark II does not have to return to you to change/deactivate his item box.

- Snake can dive on the ground and roll on his back in one smooth motion.

- Snake can toss grenades over his head while on his back.

- Grenades have an arc prompt showing where they will travel.

- Glass is destructable.

- Dead/knocked out bodies can still be dragged.

- Enemy bullets kick up dirt and sand, giving you a clue as to where they are located.

- Armored cars are an enemy.

- Characters shot in front of Snake (Snake himself???) leave blood splatter on your screen for a few seconds.

- Explosive drum cans litter the streets.

- RPG-7 makes a return!

- The P-90, Solidus’s gun of choice, is a new weapon.

- Random shots affect dead bodies, jolting them.

- Helpful soldiers give Snake the thumbs up!

OVERVIEW

Developed by Guerilla Games, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Killzone™ 2 is the highly anticipated first-person shooter created exclusively for the PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) computer entertainment system.  Following events and action from the original Killzone for PlayStation®2, Killzone 2 brings players into a highly detailed, ultra-realistic “theater of war” that truly leverages the processing power of the PS3.

Throughout the campaign, players will encounter lifelike and adaptable artificial intelligence (A.I.) from enemies as well as fellow soldiers, destructible environments, and stunningly detailed scenery.  Additionally, players will be tasked with utilizing a host of new weapons and vehicles in the war to stop the Helghast.  Featuring an extensive single-player campaign and thrilling multi-player mode, Killzone 2 delivers a host of new gameplay elements and an intense storyline that will once again drive gamers to join the ranks of the ISA and fight the Helghast…this time on the enemy’s home planet.

STORYLINE

Two years after the Helghast assault on Vekta, the ISA is taking the fight to the enemy’s home world of Helghan.  The ISA goal is direct: capture the Helghast leader, Emperor Visari, and bring the Helghast war machine to a halt.  Assuming the role of Sev, a battle-hardened veteran and a member of the special forces unit known as the Legion, players will lead a group of highly trained soldiers on a mission to take out the Helghast threat.  For Sev and his squad, the invasion of Helghan is just the beginning.  Tasked with securing Pyrrhus, the Capital City, the team quickly discovers that the Helghast are a formidable enemy on their home planet.  Not only have they adjusted to the planet’s hostile conditions, they have also harnessed a source of power they can now use against the ISA.  Sev discovers his squad isn’t just fighting enemy forces – their fiercest opponent may be the planet itself.

KEY FEATURES

• Experience realistic, highly atmospheric environments that respond dynamically to the violent conditions on the planet Helghan.
• Witness the devastating effects of Helghan’s climate as it forces you and your enemies to adapt to new tactics.
• Control an arsenal of new and unique weapons and vehicles, in addition to trusty Killzone classics like the M82-G and the StA-52 LA.
• Face off against fearsome enemies who have learned to wield the hostility of Helghan itself against their opponents.
• Between Killzone 2’s unique visual style, the power of PS3, the use of EDGE tools, and the proprietary technology developed by Guerrilla, the game promises to impress players with its benchmark visuals, smooth character animation, detailed, effect-laden environments, and realtime cutscenes.
• Experience a beautifully lit world brought to life by deferred rendering technology.  Multiple shadows casting light sources bring out the highly detailed environments and character animations.
• With true next-gen audio the player is further immersed in the world, supporting 7.1 surround and location-specific audio with wave tracing.  Players will not only notice the difference between indoor and outdoor but also experience sound and music that are dynamic and contextual.
• Studio grade special effects will provide unprecedented visual fidelity.  With full screen anti-aliasing, motion blur, internal lens reflections, and depth-based color grading, players will experience a picture that is sharp, smooth, and full of detail.
