Who hasn’t used a cheat at some point in the Grand Theft Auto series? Here at Vandal, we know just how irresistible they can be. That’s why, while we wait for GTA 6 to finally arrive, we’ve put together the ultimate list of every GTA 5 cheat, allowing you to get all the weapons, spawn all kinds of vehicles, improve your stats, or simply go wild and wreak havoc across the city with the craziest and most unexpected effects. Below, you’ll find all the cheats, codes, and secrets available for Grand Theft Auto V, all of which work with both the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game. To activate these cheats, simply enter the following button combinations while playing without pausing the game, or dial the corresponding number combination using the in-game phone.
Finally, remember that cheats cannot be used in GTA Online and will disable trophies. Some cheats cannot be used during missions, although the rest will still work.
These are all the GTA V cheats you can use to spawn different types of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and even helicopters. Unfortunately, this installment doesn’t have a cheat for spawning a tank.
Cheat: Enter the following number on your phone: 1-999-3984628. You must first complete the "Sea Plane" random event.
Cheat: Enter the following number on your phone: 1-999-2822537. You must first complete the Wildlife Photography Challenge by photographing all 20 animals.
Cheat: Enter the following number on your phone: 1-999-3328-4227. You must first complete the "Duel" random event.
These are the only cheats that allow you to become invincible—although only for five minutes—or fully restore your health and armor to keep yourself from dying.
These cheats will give you all the weapons you could want, as well as infinite or special ammunition for them.
These cheats give characters special abilities and powers or improve their stats.
You can enter this cheat up to three times to increase its effect. Entering it a fourth time will disable it.
This cheat makes you fall from the sky without a parachute, so you’ll normally end up dying. It can be used to fly and travel quickly across the map, but only if you combine it with the invincibility cheat.
These cheats allow you to adjust your police wanted level whenever you like, whether you want some peace and quiet or feel like stirring up trouble.
These cheats allow you to alter various elements of the game, including the weather and everything happening around you, while also providing a few special effects.
You can enter it up to four times to increase the effect. Entering it a fifth time will disable it.
Each time you use it, the weather cycles between sunny, clear, cloudy, foggy, overcast, rainy, stormy, bright, and snowy.

One of the new features added to Grand Theft Auto 5 in the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions is Peyote Plants, which allow you to hallucinate and take control of animals. The animal you get to control is random, but each Peyote Plant is always found in the same place.

Unfortunately, GTA 5 doesn’t have a cheat code for getting infinite money like some of the other games in the series. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t methods and tips for building a huge fortune relatively quickly and easily. These include investing in the stock market and taking actions that affect share prices, finding nuclear waste or underwater briefcases, taking advantage of certain glitches, stealing cars, and much more. If you play GTA 5’s multiplayer mode, GTA Online, you’ll probably want to make money quickly and easily, especially since there aren’t any specific cheats or codes for doing so. At the following link, we show you the best legitimate ways to make money in GTA Online, so you don’t run into trouble when starting the game.
The following section includes several tricks that aren’t technically cheats or codes, but which take advantage of glitches or bugs in the game to produce certain effects. If they haven’t already been fixed, they may be patched in the future, and some might not work with an updated version of the game. To use them, don’t update the game, or uninstall its update patches.
To make this trick work, park the car you want in a garage and activate slow motion before getting out. Just as the character starts leaving the vehicle, quickly switch to another character. When you switch back to the character at the garage, there should be two identical cars inside.
Note: Although this trick has worked with every character, it is now more likely to work if you use Michael, drive to his home garage, and switch characters at the exact moment he puts his hand on the car door before closing it.
When you’re not in a mission and your health is low, you can quickly restore it by switching characters and then immediately switching back to the character you were controlling.
To perform this trick, go to the sign outside a property that’s available to purchase and confirm that you want to buy it. At the exact moment you confirm the purchase and the property purchase cutscene begins, press Start and replay any mission, preferably a short one. When you finish the mission, you’ll own the new property without having spent any money.
Go to Fort Zancudo as Franklin and enter the base using a fast vehicle. Use the entrance near the main runway on the western side of the map. As soon as you get inside, activate Franklin’s special ability to slow down time for as long as possible. This will prevent your wanted level from rising to four stars while the ability remains active, giving you a little more time.
Look for a jet with an open cockpit inside or near the hangar to reduce the amount of time it takes to steal it even further.
To get the tank, follow the same process, but look for a tank once you’re inside the base. It generally appears as soon as you enter through the main gate, so using the invincibility cheat beforehand is highly recommended.
The Minigun, also known as a Gatling gun, is a heavy weapon that prevents you from running or jumping but has enormous destructive power.
Go to Fort Zancudo and turn right at the first intersection, then head toward the radio tower on the right-hand side of the road. Enter the bottom of the building, turn left, and go through the double doors leading to the stairs. The Minigun is inside a room on the top floor. You’ll encounter plenty of resistance on the way, but once you’re inside the radio tower, you’ll be safe from tank fire.
Once you collect it, it will remain in your inventory even if you die. You can buy ammunition for it from stores.
The Canis Mesa is an off-road vehicle that cannot be purchased in the game and which you aren’t normally supposed to be able to keep, but there is a way to get one.
During one mission, you’ll gain access to a Canis Mesa while escaping from a shootout. Don’t follow the road. Instead, take the path on the left down the hill to reach another road. A helicopter will chase you, but you shouldn’t have much trouble avoiding it. Drive to the garage at Michael’s house and park the vehicle inside. Then get into another vehicle and complete the mission.
Once the game has been saved, the Canis Mesa will be yours to keep, and it can also be customized.
Completing a mission automatically lowers your current wanted level.
An easier method is to drive to a mod shop and change the color of your vehicle. If the police don’t see you entering the building, you’ll instantly lose your current wanted level.
Since the police will search for the vehicle they saw you driving, switching to a different one will also help you lose them.
During the countdown before a race, hold down L1 without any weapons equipped to start driving. Use this trick to take an early lead and finish first easily.
