GTA 5 has 31 built-in cheat codes on Xbox 360, and every one is entered with the controller. The complete list below covers invincibility, health and armor, weapons and ammunition, Wanted Levels, movement, world effects and 11 vehicle spawns.
The Xbox 360 edition does not support cheat entry through the in-game phone. It also lacks the Dodo, Kraken and Duke O'Death spawn codes, Director Mode and the Black Cellphone Easter egg found in later editions. Story Mode only: cheats never worked in GTA Online. Activating one temporarily disables Xbox achievements for the current play session, so create a manual save before you begin.

Do not hold every button at once. A combination is a sequence: press the first input, release it, then continue immediately with the next. If nothing happens, begin again and enter the complete sequence slightly faster.
No. Although the characters have smartphones, the original Xbox 360 edition does not accept the cheat numbers used by Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Numbers beginning with 1-999 and words such as PAINKILLER, TOOLUP or BUZZOFF will not activate cheats on Xbox 360. Use the button combinations below.

Important correction: the old version of this Vandal page printed Recharge Special Ability as X, X, X, RB, LB, A, Right, Left, A. That sequence is wrong. The working Xbox 360 combination begins A, A, X, as shown in the table.
The weapon code has limits: it supplies a standard set of weapons and some ammunition. It does not unlock every weapon in GTA 5, and ammunition still runs out.

Use Skyfall carefully: it is not a true flying cheat or a safe fast-travel method. The character can influence the descent, but a parachute cannot be opened during the special fall.
The following 11 vehicles can be spawned during unrestricted Story Mode free roam, provided there is enough clear space. The parachute code belongs in the player table above and is not a vehicle. For vehicle statistics and normal acquisition methods, see the complete GTA 5 cars and vehicles list.
If a vehicle does not appear: move outdoors and find a larger, flatter area. Aircraft and the Buzzard require much more space than a bike or car and cannot spawn inside buildings, tunnels or other confined locations.

There is no code that spawns every vehicle. Xbox 360 can summon only the 11 models listed above; every other vehicle must be found, stolen, purchased or unlocked normally.
The Xbox 360 release is the original 2013 edition. Several codes widely included in modern GTA 5 lists were added only to later versions and must not appear as working Xbox 360 cheats.

Words such as EXTINCT, BUBBLES, DEATHCAR, JRTALENT and EMPDROP are not secret Xbox 360 controller combinations. They are associated with phone or PC inputs in later editions and do nothing on this console.
No. Rockstar closed GTA Online services for Xbox 360 on 16 December 2021. The company also confirmed that GTA 5 Story Mode was not affected, so the single-player campaign and the 31 controller cheats on this page remain usable.
Rockstar's support guidance confirms that cheats do not permanently damage a save, but they do change what is available during the current play session.
