There are 50 letter scraps scattered throughout the game. You can collect them with any character and in any order. Finding them all counts toward achieving 100% completion. As with the spaceship parts, you can also bring Chop along to help you by selecting the "Use Chop to search for packages" option.
Check each location on the map and set a purple waypoint in the game to reach it. Below, you’ll find a detailed description of the exact spot, along with a reference image.
1. Port of South Los Santos, terminal near Buccaneer Way: Climb onto the containers and jump across them until you reach the gap containing the letter scrap.
2. Los Santos International Airport, underground entrance: Next to a bench on the airport’s lower level.
3. Port of South Los Santos, Elysian Island: On the bow of the Olifantus tugboat.
4. Los Santos International Airport, rooftop bar: Near the central support column. You’ll need an aircraft to reach it.
5. East Los Santos, Cypress Flats: Enter the underground train tunnel through the entrance marked on the map in the image. Walk a short distance and you’ll find the letter scrap on your left.
6. Downtown, crane at Vespucci Boulevard and Power Street: Climb the extremely tall blue and yellow crane all the way to the top. There’s a parachute waiting up there to help you get back down quickly.
7. South Los Santos, Davis, Grove Street: In the backyard of the third house from the gate.
8. South Los Santos, Davis, Mega Mall: On top of the dumpster across from the Mega Mall.
9. Vespucci Beach: Inside one of the empty swimming pools.
10. East Los Santos, La Mesa, Vespucci Boulevard: On the bridge, on its southern side.
11. Vespucci, canal tunnel: Under the bridge, on the central walkway running through the canal.
12. Del Perro Pier, restaurant balcony: On the restaurant’s rear balcony. You can reach it using the stairs facing the ocean.
13. Murrieta Oil Field, El Burro Heights: Inside one of the scrapyard warehouses, in half of a bus shell.
14. Palomino Highlands, offshore island: On the beach on the eastern side of the island, behind some bushes.
15. East Vinewood flood control dam: On the dam’s central platform, on the northern side.
16. Vinewood Racetrack stands: On the floor in the seating area.
17. Vinewood Hills, Vinewood Sign: On the letter I. Use the ladders at the back to climb up.
18. Palmer-Taylor Power Station, offshore island: At the northern end of the island opposite the power station, just off the eastern coast.
19. San Chianski Mountain Range, lagoon cave: Inside the cave, on a sandbank to the left.
20. Harmony, Grand Senora Desert, fugitive’s farm: Behind the wooden sign.
21. Harmony, Redwood Lights Track: In the central hole of the unfinished circular building.
22. Harmony, near Joshua Road: Find the stairs on the tallest building and climb up to the roof.
23. Grand Senora Desert, near the airfield: On top of the rock formation opposite the airfield.
24. Sandy Shores, abandoned motel: Inside the empty swimming pool at the abandoned motel.
25. Mount Chiliad, northern shore of the Alamo Sea: Under the porch of the workshop east of the jetty.
26. Grapeseed Main Street: Under the second white canopy closest to the road.
27. Mount Gordo, El Gordo Lighthouse: At the base of the lighthouse.
28. Mount Chiliad homeless camp: Inside the cabin at the far end of the camp.
29. Procopio Drive rest area: In front of the men’s restroom door.
30. Mount Chiliad, cable car near the summit: Go to the cable car in Paleto Forest and ride it to the top of Mount Chiliad.
31. Paleto Bay, abandoned house: Behind the abandoned house.
32. Paleto Bay, beach house near Procopio Drive: On the balcony reached by climbing the stairs.
33. Paleto Forest, lumber yard: To the left of the path leading up to the lumber yard, behind a group of rocks and trees.
34. Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness, Altruist Camp: Follow the mountain path and look at the base of the communications tower.
35. North Chumash, Raton Canyon, above Cassidy Creek: The easiest way to find it is to take a helicopter to the edge of the ravine.
36. Mount Chiliad, Alamo Sea, Millars Fishery: On the small circular peninsula jutting out from the northwestern shore of the Alamo Sea.
37. Lago Zancudo, south of Fort Zancudo: In a clearing beside the third creek flowing into the lake.
38. Lago Zancudo, Route 69 bridge: Directly underneath the bridge.
39. Great Chaparral cemetery: Among the graves facing the road.
40. Great Chaparral, north of Galileo Road: Beside a door set into the rock, on the winding road leading up from Galileo Road.
41. Tongva Valley, Highway 11: In front of the information sign on the eastern side of the road.
42. Vinewood Hills, mountain trail overlook: On the ground beside the tables at the overlook.
43. Vinewood Hills, Lake Vinewood Estate: On the floor of the game room beside the swimming pool.
44. Vinewood, Eastbourne Way and Spanish Avenue: In the barbecue area at the top of the stairs.
45. Vinewood, Hawick, Power Street and Hawick Avenue: Inside the skateboarding half-pipe.
46. Vinewood, Alta, Occupation Avenue and Power Street: Inside the pit in the middle of the construction site.
47. Movie studio in Backlot City: You can land there with a helicopter or enter as Michael after starting Solomon’s missions. Check the image for the exact location.
48. Pacific Bluffs cemetery: On the central island in the cemetery lake.
49. Pacific Bluffs, Kortz Center: Starting from the northern entrance to the hedge maze, take the following route whenever the path splits: right, left, left, left.
50. Pacific Bluffs, hotel pool bar: On the counter of the poolside bar between the rear swimming pools.
