Below, you’ll find all the cheats and codes for Grand Theft Auto V on PC. To activate them, enter any of the following codes using the in-game console—press the tilde (~) key while playing without pausing—or dial the corresponding number on your character’s phone.

GTA 5 car and vehicle cheats for PC

These are all the GTA V vehicle cheats available on PC, allowing you to spawn all kinds of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, and helicopters. Unfortunately, there is no cheat for spawning a tank.

Health and armor cheats

These are the only cheats that allow you to become invincible or fully restore your health and armor to keep yourself from dying.

Weapon and ammo cheats

These cheats give you every weapon in the game, along with infinite or special ammo, so you can wreak havoc across Los Santos.

Special ability and "power" cheats

These cheats give your characters special abilities and powers or improve their stats, making them virtually indestructible.

Police wanted level cheats

Game world, weather, time, and miscellaneous cheats

Remember that the effects of these cheats cannot be saved. You’ll need to enter the codes manually each time you play, and they cannot be used during missions—they will also be disabled when you start one. Directions must be entered using the D-pad. Cheats also disable achievements for the current session, so we recommend saving your game before using them.

How to get every collectible and special reward

The following image shows you where to find all the collectibles in GTA 5 for PC:

• All spaceship parts: Omega will ask you to find all 50 pieces of a spaceship, and collecting them will earn you an unusual reward.
• All letter scraps: There are 50 letter scraps scattered throughout San Andreas for you to find.
• Nuclear waste locations: You’ll receive $23,000 for every piece of nuclear waste you find.
• Strangers and Freaks: The locations of every character who will ask you to complete all kinds of unusual missions.
• Stunt jumps:: The locations of every stunt jump required to achieve 100% completion.
• All underwater package locations: One of the best ways to make money in the game.

How to make lots of money in GTA 5 and GTA Online

Unfortunately, GTA 5 doesn’t have a cheat code for getting infinite money like some of the other games in the series. Luckily, there are still plenty of methods, tips, and secrets that can help you build a fortune relatively easily. These include investing in the stock market and taking actions that destabilize or influence share prices, finding barrels of nuclear waste or underwater briefcases, taking advantage of certain glitches—although we don’t recommend it—and stealing cars, among many other things. Make money in GTA Online

If online multiplayer is more your thing and you play GTA 5’s multiplayer mode, GTA Online, you’ll probably want to become rich there as well. Just like in the base game, however, there’s no instant way to do it. At the following link, we explain the best legitimate ways to make money in GTA Online, so you don’t run into trouble, especially when starting the mode from scratch.

Other cheats, tips, bugs, and glitches—use some of these with caution

The following section contains several miscellaneous secrets, including some that take advantage of glitches or bugs in the game to produce certain effects. Keep in mind that if they haven’t already been fixed, they may be patched in the future, and some of them won’t work with an updated version of the game. That doesn’t mean they never existed, though! If you want to try them, simply don’t update the game, or uninstall its update patches.

Restore health instantly

If you’re not in a mission and your health is low, you can quickly restore it by switching to another character and then immediately switching back to the one you were controlling.

Duplicate cars in the garage

To make this trick work, park the car you want in your garage and activate slow motion before getting out. Just as your character starts leaving the vehicle, quickly switch to another character. Then switch back to the character at the garage to get two identical cars.

Note: Although this trick has worked with every character, it is now more likely to work if you use Michael, drive to his home garage, and switch characters at the exact moment he puts his hand on the car door before closing it.

Get properties for free

To take advantage of this glitch, go to the sign outside a property that’s available to purchase and confirm that you want to buy it. At the exact moment you confirm the purchase and the confirmation cutscene begins, press Esc—or Start if you’re using a controller—and replay any mission, preferably a short one. Once you finish the mission, you’ll own the new property without having spent a dime!

Get the Canis Mesa

This is a 4x4 that you cannot buy in the game and aren’t normally supposed to be able to obtain, but there is a way to get one. Here’s how:

• During mission 69, you’ll gain access to the Canis Mesa while escaping from a shootout.
• Don’t follow the road. Instead, take the path on the left down the hill to reach another road.
• A helicopter will chase you, but you shouldn’t have much trouble avoiding it.
• Drive to the garage at Michael’s house and park the vehicle inside. Then get into another vehicle and complete the mission.

Once the game has been saved, the Canis Mesa will be yours to keep, and it can also be customized.

Where to find the Minigun

The Minigun, also known as a Gatling gun, is a weapon that severely limits your movement. The upside is its enormous destructive power, which makes it well worth getting.

To obtain this weapon, first go to Fort Zancudo and turn right at the first intersection. Then head toward the radio tower on the right-hand side of the road. Enter the bottom of the building, turn left, and go through the double doors leading to the stairs. You’ll find the Minigun inside a room on the top floor. How you make it out alive is up to you, but don’t worry: once you collect it, it will remain in your inventory even if you die, and you’ll be able to buy ammunition for it from stores.

How to get a tank or fighter jet

GTA 5 doesn’t have a cheat for spawning a fighter jet or tank, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get hold of these vehicles the old-fashioned way.

To get the fighter jet, first go to Fort Zancudo as Franklin and enter the base using a fast vehicle. Use the entrance near the main runway on the western side of the map. As soon as you get inside, activate Franklin’s special ability to slow down time for as long as possible. This will prevent your wanted level from rising to four stars while the ability remains active, giving you a little more time.

Finally, look for a jet with an open cockpit inside or near the hangar to reduce the amount of time it takes to steal it even further.

To get the tank, follow a similar process, but look for a tank once you’re inside the base. It generally appears as soon as you enter through the main gate, so we recommend using the invincibility cheat beforehand to avoid being killed immediately.

Lose the cops easily

• Completing a mission will automatically lower your current wanted level.
• An easier method is to drive to a mod shop and change the color of your vehicle. If the police don’t see you entering the building, you’ll instantly lose your current wanted level.
• Since the police will search for the vehicle they saw you driving, switching to a different one will also help you lose them.

How to get a turbo start in races

This trick is very simple, although it might take a couple of attempts to master. To get a nitro or turbo boost at the start of a race, simply accelerate fully at the exact moment "GO!" appears on the screen. If you time it correctly, you’ll gain a small advantage at the beginning of the race.
