How to play Free Fire with a Bluetooth controller

Whether you have an Android or iOS device, it is possible to play Free Fire wirelessly using a controller connected via Bluetooth. The method for pairing a controller with your phone is practically the same on every device. Naturally, the controller must have built-in Bluetooth support, such as a compatible PS4 or Xbox One controller.

Provided that your controller supports this feature and is fully updated, follow these steps to connect it to your device wirelessly:

• First, turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
• Next, put your controller into Bluetooth pairing mode. On a PS4 controller, for example, hold down the Share + PS buttons at the same time for a few seconds until the light starts flashing.
• On your phone, open the "Settings" menu and go to the "Connected Devices" or "Bluetooth" section.
• Select "Pair new device" and wait while your phone searches for nearby Bluetooth devices.
• If everything has worked correctly, your controller should appear in the list under a name such as "Wireless Controller".
• Simply select the controller to pair it with your phone.

Now that your phone and controller are properly paired, open the Free Fire app and check whether you can play using the controller. Bear in mind that the game may experience certain issues or glitches, as it was not specifically designed to be played with a controller in this way. • Check whether your device supports USB OTG: you can quickly search Google using the name of your phone followed by "USB OTG," or install this app to find out quickly and easily.
• If your phone does not support USB OTG: you will not be able to play Free Fire using a wired controller.
• If your phone supports USB OTG: the next step is to buy a USB OTG cable or adapter compatible with your device. These are usually affordable and can be found in most computer and electronics stores.

Once you have a USB OTG cable for your phone, all you need to do is plug it in to your device's USB port and then connect it to the USB cable from the controller you want to use. The controller should then be recognized correctly, much as it would be when connected to a PC, although some phones may ask for permission first.
