Many Free Fire players love testing their skills in the game's competitive mode to prove who is the best. The competition can be fierce, but there are also plenty of rewards waiting for those brave enough to take it on.
In this section of our guide, we'll explain how to play Free Fire's Ranked mode, the different ranks and rewards you can earn, and how to gain Rank Points.
How to play Free Fire's Ranked mode
Before you can play Free Fire's Ranked mode, you must reach account level 5. This is fairly easy to achieve by playing a few matches and completing daily challenges. Once you reach this level, the Ranked modes will be unlocked in the match-selection menu.
How to earn Rank Points
By playing Ranked matches in Free Fire, you can earn Rank Points (RP). These points determine your position within a division and allow you to climb through the ranks. Naturally, the higher you rise, the tougher the matches become, as you'll be competing against increasingly skilled players.
Rank Points are mainly earned by playing competitive matches. Depending on your performance and achievements, you will either gain or lose points. These are all the main ways to earn Rank Points:
Finishing near the top of the match, in 25th place or better.
Eliminating enemies.
Dealing damage to enemies, including your headshot percentage.
Reviving fallen teammates.
Completing daily missions.
Bear in mind that if you die frequently, finish in poor positions, or perform badly overall, you will lose Rank Points and may even be demoted to a lower division. Rank Points only accumulate during the current season. When a competitive season ends, the ranks are reset and you will be placed in a lower division based on the position you previously reached.
All competitive ranks and their rewards
Each Free Fire competitive season lasts for approximately two months and is divided into a total of seven different ranks or tiers. Most ranks also contain several subdivisions, and the rewards you receive at the end of the season will depend on how high you managed to climb. The further you get, the better the prizes.
