Ya es un hecho. Toys 'R' Us ha anunciado que cerrará más de 700 establecimientos en Estados Unidos, según informa The Wall Street Journal. Tal y como informa el diario, esta decisión ya habría sido trasladada a los empleados. Afectaría también en España, Francia y otros lugares donde la cadena juguetera está presente.
"Siempre creí que esta marca y este negocio deberían existir en los Estados Unidos", indicaba el presidente ejecutivo David Brandon. Así mismo añadió que "todos vivirán para arrepentirse de lo que está sucediendo aquí".
No es para menos, dado que esta medida afectaría a más de 700 tiendas en Estados Unidos, que se traducen en 33.000 puestos de trabajo que se perderían. En Reino Unido, la cifra sería de 3.000 empleos.
