Deadpool is one of the characters available from the beginning of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The Merc with a Mouth is still an expert at breaking the fourth wall and making fun of everyone, and this has resulted in the character having a series of "secret commands" that can be used to unlock the Deadpool Saves the Tōkon Universe trophy. Incidentally, each of these moves references another fighting game. Here, we’ll explain how to perform these moves and unlock the trophy.
Keep these three things in mind about Deadpool Saves the Tōkon Universe:
These are all of Deadpool’s secret command moves. You’ll find an image beneath each command showing you what it looks like. We’ve also included some additional instructions for the moves that require further explanation.
This move is fairly easy to perform. Deadpool leans forward and sticks his backside in the air, making it very difficult to mistake for any of his other moves.
This will probably be the first move that gives you trouble. As you can see, it is longer than the previous command but begins with the same inputs. The only thing you need to remember is that you must press Down, Circle and R1 simultaneously on the final Down input.
This is the classic quarter-circle-forward Hadouken input, where you slide your finger from Down towards the opponent. The trick is to hold the final forward input while pressing Circle and Square at the same time.
You’ll know you’ve performed it correctly because the move begins with Deadpool approaching the opponent with his fists raised.
This is the most difficult input in this particular collection. Perform a quarter-circle from Down to back, press down-back and, at the very end, hold forward while pressing Triangle and Circle. You’ll know that you’ve performed it correctly because the opening animation shows Deadpool approaching while raising one knee. Don’t worry if the actual attack is identical to the previous one, as only the approach animation changes.
The final Fever Dream input—the special attack is the same as the previous two, but the approach animation changes—is fairly easy to perform. You’ll know you’ve entered the command correctly because Deadpool approaches like Akuma, gliding forwards on one foot.
Yes. This is one of the few trophies that can be unlocked directly in tutorial mode. Simply start the tutorial with Deadpool, focus on performing all five commands and, once you’ve completed them, open the pause menu and go to the Command List to unlock Deadpool Saves the Tōkon Universe.
