As in most fighting games, each of the characters in Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has several appearances, costumes, or skins to choose from when playing any of its game modes. Every character has at least nine different appearances, some of which are not available by default. Here is what you need to do to unlock them.
By default, when selecting a character, you will see that there are four different colors to choose from. Thanks to the magic of comic books, each one is technically a different costume. For example, Spider-Man's second color is his symbiote suit, while his fourth is the Anti-Venom suit. Captain America's four basic colors include his traditional red, white, and blue outfit, while one of the other three is based on Hydra. This works the same way for every character, and you should easily recognise the comic-book costumes referenced by each color.
However, each character also has five secret colors that are unlocked by meeting the following requirements:
When selecting a character, you will see that there is also an option to choose a different costume. For now, this only applies to a handful of characters with additional outfits. Unfortunately, all of these costumes are DLC.
The DLC costumes currently available cannot be purchased separately and are included with the game's Ultimate Edition. They are as follows:
Each of these costumes comes with eight colors, all of which are unlocked automatically when you purchase the content.
