Empresa estadounidense que alcanzó cierta fama en los años 90 publicando numerosos juegos basados en todo tipo de licencias, desde cómics y películas hasta series de televisión tan populares como Los Simpson. También realizaron numerosas conversiones de juegos arcade a consola, como los de la serie Mortal Kombat, y algunas de sus sagas más recordadas son los NBA Jam de 16 bits y los Turok, cuyas entregas en Nintendo 64 contaron con bastante éxito. En 2004 la empresa quiebra, aunque un año después intenta ser reflotada, para en 2006 fundarse una nueva empresa usando su nombre llamada Acclaim Games, que desaparece definitivamente en 2010.
