As in any FPS, weapon ammo is essential during the missions in Halo: Campaign Evolved. You'll constantly need to search for and pick up ammo—or swap weapons—to keep fighting, but you may not know that there's a very useful cheat that gives you infinite ammo, so you'll never have to worry about running out again... Yes, you read that correctly. If you still don't know how to enable it, this section of our guide explains everything you need to know.
To get infinite ammo during your Halo: Campaign Evolved playthroughs, you'll need to unlock one of the game's collectible Skulls. More specifically, you need the Bandanna Skull, which can be found during mission 4 of the main campaign, titled The Silent Cartographer.
Once the mission begins, start from Rally Point Alpha, follow the opening objectives and get into the Warthog to drive toward the entrance to the map room. When you reach this building, don't go inside just yet. Instead, look for the cave on the right, as shown in the following image:
Head into this small cave and you'll find the Skull inside, lying on the ground.
After collecting this Skull for the first time, you can return to the game's main menu. From now on, whenever you start a new playthrough, you'll be able to enable the Skull to get infinite ammo for all your weapons, as well as unlimited grenades.
Be warned: if you're trying to unlock trophies and achievements, this Skull disables many of them. Other than that, if you don't mind and want to enjoy infinite ammo, you now know exactly what to do to play through the game with this useful advantage.
