As with any game, Halo: Campaign Evolved raises a number of frequently asked questions as you play. Since we don't want any of your questions to go unanswered, this section of our FAQ explains whether the game includes multiplayer features that let you play with friends and complete strangers online.
The first thing you need to know is that Halo: Campaign Evolved launches without any competitive multiplayer modes. This means there is no Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch or anything similar. To be absolutely clear, the game does not include competitive multiplayer, and it is not expected to be added in the future. However, it does support co-op, allowing you to play through the campaign both online and in split-screen.
It is worth remembering that Halo's competitive multiplayer is available through the standalone, free-to-play multiplayer version of Halo Infinite. If you want to take on other players in the franchise's iconic competitive modes, that is the game you're looking for.
